I try to describe it carefully that you don't regret when you receive it.
Purchased from Argos for £350 when it was on sale about 3 years ago. No original box or receipts due to house moving.
No gaming No Bit-current download since it come but I'm afraid it won't make too much sense as it now failed to boot.
I hardly used it since 1.5 years ago as have been with company laptop. but it was used for some weekend browsing occasionally. Since 2 weeks ago it shut down itself and it took a few minutes (quite likely to cool down) before it can boot again. Since 5 days ago it completely stopped booting up. I thought it was hard disk failure but it was tested nothing wrong with it.

For the asking price it comes completely with original battery and main charger. Will clean it but still comes with sign of use.
ATTENTION: there was a little crack to the outer thermal window on the top left edge but nothing to do with the flip-hinge and it's hardly visible from front and it doesn't affect use at all. It was resulted a few days after buying it by falling down to its charger on the floor from bed. AND it does not boot any more now.

I knew I might end up more with selling all the parts for people on ebay but just don't have energy to do so.

Will take more pictures in the weekend if you can wait.

Any genuine offer is welcome.

Still sits under the closet, now has to go. Not willing to bother to list parts - everything is all right but motherboard had bad connection as last inspected. Boots and works but occasionally self-reboot. Sometimes not able to boot.

Hi there, thanks for asking. I dont know why I tried again this morning it does boot up okay. I used it a little while and switched it off now cannt boot again. very strange. And when it doesn't boot only the power indicator on, no screen display, very light fan noise.

Reading RG1 any good for collection at all? I am afraid I can't go too much lower, £80 and I will keep the 250GB hard disk?
BTW the memory has been upgraded to 4 GB. if you wish you can have all 3 sticks 2G+2G+1G.

Sorry, haven't been online in a while. when it did boot up did it get particularly hot? did the fan spin much?

Edit: Also if it boots up again can you tell me the specific model of the CPU please? Right click on 'Computer' clcik properties> will be listed there.

Will see if I can get another chance to check it.
When it did boot up, it works as normal, the fan spins normal, not particularly hot. It shouldn't be heating problem, may be some little bug on the motherboard.
But still, the asking price is for faulty and spares anyway. If you are after some reliable laptop, this is not the one I am afraid.

Looks a bit beaten up! Is the Windows 7 COA on the underside fully readable?

Could possibly pick up from Reading Station.

Thanks for asking.
A little bit. It's actually resulted by knocking into its charger on the floor - FYI this is not the reason it stopped booting. This happened long ago.
Reg. the COA, will get back to you when I get home.
Reading station sounds ideal for me.

Has the original hard drive got the restore partition on it? Did you burn restore discs?

Without the COA or the original hard drive with the restore partition, or the restore discs, then effectively there is no operating system being sold. This cuts the price substantially.

Yes it will comw with a Acer preactivated operation system disk. I also installed Ubuntu as i thought it was the system error at the beginning. Again this is for repairs please don't expect it in working order.

hi would you sell the hard drive by itself in its current state, like without formatting it so it still has windows?
my hard drive is corrupt and I didn't make any recovery disks, so that's why I need it.
if you would how much would you sell it for?

thanks
