Surely this is a personal pick up only if the trade materialises ?

Not sure posting is a good idea.

Have a look on pre loved, there is usually a few for sale on there, I would love one but we look after my sisters when they go away and it is the most clever bird i have come across, african greys are lovely birds

What did you have before? a macaw is very different to a african grey, much bigger stronger and temprimental....trust me i know from experience here. I would not trust one with a child they really can cause harm, ive had a few nasty pecs and wouldnt wish them on others

Please think about what you want, they look pretty but are demanding, its like having a toddler, they are loud, i could hear ours crying when i pulled up on the drive whilst still i was still sat in the car!!!
I couldnt go out for more than a few hours, she would even start trying to take the screws out of the cage, to escape and cause damage to the house, and it was a 6ft macaw cage.
Trust me dont get bigger than a grey its hard looking after them and just as hard when you have to give them up because you cant cope.

Have you considered a pionus parrot they are pretty in colour, similar size to the greys but can be quite friendly i believe, if i had to have another id probs consider this a nice start, not to demanding but still characteristic and charming
