This brings back so many memories. And fruit machine, that was my all time fave game.

1987 I had just turned 6 and it was my bestest christmas, still got the photos from that day when I opened it.

And 1989 I finally got the colour version with built in disk drive and colour monitor.

They were the days of good old 'Basic', best programming language ever. Cant believe I can still write it now.

So tempted but my OH would string me up, I my little lad would probably have a right laugh if I show him this.

Don't you need a proprietary monitor to go with it?

If you had a CPC464, that was Colour...

I was sure that they were green on black screens. Mine was. My 664 was colour which was the first disk upgrade from 464 as I still have this in loft at grandparents though not working

these cost around £300 with monitor back in the day

There was a Green Screen one, but I can't remember what model it was...

I thought myself that the difference between the models was CP464 and CPC464, but I can't find any info anywhere on a CP464 (which made me find the Colour Personal Computer sequence).

Could it have just been the different monitors that were shipped with them?
