  I bought one recently from tesco, it has a mains charger, car charger and various plugs including micro-B for £5.99.

  my samsung galaxy ace charger also charges my kindle fine - so gdsouza is right :)

  you will be better off getting one from the bay / net where sellers get bulk mailing prices
  
  even 2bd class post will cost well over a quid
  
  0-100g £1.33
  101-250g £1.72
  
  therefore unless someone is giving one away then other sources are best bet
