The sleek, easy-to-use AirPort Extreme Base Station with simultaneous dual-band support is the perfect wireless access point for home, school, or small business. It offers fast, 802.11n Wi-Fi access for Mac computers, PC, and other Wi-Fi devices such as iPhone, iPod touch, and Apple TV.1

Easy wireless networking.

Connect your DSL or cable modem to the AirPort Extreme Base Station, then quickly set it up with the easy-to-use AirPort Utility, which is included for both Mac OS X and Windows. In minutes, you and up to 50 others can use your Mac computers or PCs to surf the web, stream video, share photos, and more without wires.2

Guest networking.

Now you can set up a separate Wi-Fi network with a separate password for your visitors. Simply enable the new guest networking feature, and your guests can use the Internet but can't access other parts of your private network, such as your computers, printers, and attached hard drives.

Print without wires.

Have several computers in your home or office but only one printer? No problem. Just connect a compatible printer to the USB port on the AirPort Extreme Base Station, and the printer instantly becomes available to all the computers (Mac and PC) on your wireless or wired network. (See system requirements.)

Share your hard drive.

You can share an external USB hard drive over your wireless and wired networks by simply connecting it to the USB port on your AirPort Extreme Base Station. Called AirPort Disk, this feature is perfect for sharing files, and more. If you're a MobileMe member using a Mac, you can even access the files on the drive over the Internet.4

Strong security and access control.

Rest easy AirPort Extreme takes strong measures to prevent unauthorized intrusion into your wireless network. It offers a built-in firewall and supports industry-standard encryption technologies including WPA/WPA2 and 128-bit WEP. Yet it's still easy for authorized users to connect to the base station, thanks to its simple setup utility and powerful access controls.

Works with iPhone, Apple TV and more.

AirPort Extreme works with Mac computers, PCs, iPhone, iPod touch, Apple TV, and virtually all 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi wireless devices all at the same time.

A few things I forgot to ask first...
1) I just noticed, you need to submit a photo with your username on a piece of paper in the picture. Can you please do so to prove that the router is in your possession?
2) Can you confirm that this is the dual-band version?
3) when did you buy this? receipt?
4) reason for sale.

Thanks

As you can see Time Capsule (which has both the Airport and HDD) is available for £136.00 (NEW), I think £65.00 is a valid price.

Ok £65

lets take it to pm then, but i just would like to say one thing. I will send you half payment first and then on receipt of the item give you the other half. This is the usual way people deal on the HUKD, when people have fewer Feedbacks. If you agree then lets take this to PM.

Sold taken to Pm

Hi there.

If Xeres is not interested I would be willing to pay £65.00 delivered max!

With all due respect, I hadn't closed my offer and was still in negotiations. Id asked you for extra info to justify the extra outlay, not rejected your offer. I must admit to being a tad annoyed, especially more so considering you've sold it for the same price I've offered.

It's a shame because I would have been willing to pay that little bit more. drmsa, please respect the offers of other posters and vadis, the reason you have to accept/reject an offer before another can be made is because this is not a bidding forum. Please ensure in future sales you don't short on peoples offers, its a contravention of the rules and irritating for the buyer involved. :(

What rules are you referring to speifically?

Buyer can sell to whoever he wants if a deal has not been struck

If this is the very latest model with genuine dual radios its worth alot more than £65! (more like £100)

The time machine someone listed is the old model i believe without dual radios.

As said Before not sure if dual on. But is beat router I have ever used really quick and massive range. Worked well with hard drive and printer plugged into it with multiple computers

Hi Xeres, I am sorry but I have been very clear from the very beginning. If you can see my message where i have mentioned clearly if "Xeres is not interested only then I willing to take it forward". Its not my responsibility in any form or way to stop the item from being sold by a seller. And BTW I donot know any rules related to this on the Trade Forum Rules.

I am just annoyed that the deal was struck when my offer was still on the table for the exact same amount. Felt pretty miffed at the time so I apologize if I came across rude, that was not my intention.
Vadis, you get to sell to whom you want and that's your prerogative. I can't complain if I missed out because I was slow of the mark.
drmsa, you did clearly state your intentions should I withdraw my offer. Vadis wanted to close the deal and accepted your offer so my bad for directing at you.

In my haste to justify my annoyance, I confused etiquette with rules. My bad, sorry I threw inaccurate wild accusations. Learn as you travel, eh?

I'm afraid - snooze you lose.. Someone made a firm offer, with no questions attached. Was around when you weren't - name of the game. I prefer it on here when you can sell to who you want.

Your offer was based on the information from the questions - someone else flew in and took it regardless of questions. I know i would of taken the firm offer rather than yours if i was selling it.

Yeah, I agree. The site is better for allowing the seller to choose the buyer and accepting offers based on "firmness" as opposed to conditional. I felt robbed and posted whilst so, mistake on my part. Always post with a cool head. :)

No, thanks for posting politely to my initial rant. I felt frustrated and I vented inappropriately, my bad.
