The sleek, easy-to-use AirPort Extreme Base Station with simultaneous dual-band support is the perfect wireless access point for home, school, or small business. It offers fast, 802.11n Wi-Fi access for Mac computers, PC, and other Wi-Fi devices such as iPhone, iPod touch, and Apple TV.1

I used this twice before buying a Time Capsule. Didn't even take the wrappers off it.

Surely If someone else has offered full price then it must be sold to that someone else. Forgive me if I'm wrong :?

He was first to make an offer and then someone else made a higher offer, thus the chance to match that offer.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Is it not ok to do this? They made the initial offer and I am giving them a fair chance of getting the item.

Is this not allowed under HUKD rules?

OP has not accepted any offer yet. They have refused the 1st offer from a member and made a counter offer. This has been accepted.

OP is free to sell to either party.

Apologies for the late response ^^^^^^

Have to say it seems rather unfair that someone can put in a low offer and be granted a second chance when someone else has already offered the full price straight off the bat
#14
Don't mean to threadspoil but as aScottishBloke said - the OP can sell to whoever he wants even if its the sixth offer and the lowest of the bunch. Its his choice

I still can't get my head around this.

cracker1979 was first to offer the asking price so why was mighty sausage asked if he could match it. Totally confused :?

Sold to Mighty Sausage.

Thanks

Ridiculous

Sorry but how is this ridiculous exactly? Just because you offer more doesn't mean I have to sell to you. If I had been offered 1p I could've accepted that over your offer. I chose to offer the first person who took an interest and made a serious offer the opportunity to still obtain what he was after.

I think you'll find that instead of ridiculous I was merely being fair.

I'm sorry that you lost out in this instance.
