A bit of a contradiction the title says unlocked for any network and the description says apart from 3 a little misleading good price for an unlocked Iphone

Hi travelmanics

Do you have any feedback elsewhere such as ebay please?

Thanks

simiar to another post for a 16GB Iphone, this is a bit steep isnt it considering that you can get a new one for £329 from the apple shop:

http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObje.../family/iphone

and then you can unlock it for free!

True, but then the reason behind that is because 3 is a 3g only phone (and you get in trouble for using a non-3g phone on their network) so I think if you have a 3 sim (like me) then you would probably be aware of that...

The 16GB IPhone is actually £329 and it includes an 18month O2 contract... so it costs you alot more in total.

Except you are not forced to sign the 18 month contract

Your actually quite right, my mate works in Carephone Warehouse and said, there is nothing stopping you from buying the iphone and not registering for the contract once you get home

Yep, the activation process is here

http://www.apple.com/iphone/gettingstarted/

but note that when you actually buy the phone then you arent getting into a contract at that stage so if you unlock it then youre not paying the 02 contract! Hence why the price quoted here is a bit steep really

@ stelph

Why are you hi-jacking this sale. Im sure people can use google...or the search

I think that he is trying to make people aware directly that you dont actually need an o2 contract, its not something that you would search for really as the majority of people assume that the iphone is X amount of pounds and comes with contract. As usually when buying a phone contract with phones its all activated in store, you cant actually get out of the shop with a new phone without signing a contract - but seeing as your paying for the handset in full then activation is at home through itunes.

However I think this information should be in an iphone thread in "misc" as its not really fair to do it in someone FS thread.

Good price if someone is not technically minded and wants an unlocked iphone.

Pointing out cheaper deals is part of the rules, if you suspect someone of thread spoling use the report button because doing it on the actual thread makes you just as bad :)

yes i know this is an irronic post

Yes,

I have feedback on ebay. Username is travelmanics. It is currently 100% positive.

This is an excellent phone from a genuine seller. I have sold 3 so far to friends and have not had a single complaint.

Can you post pictures of the actual item please.

Thanks
