iPhone 3GS, boxed, all accessories. It is a replacement from Apple in October after the original developed some faults. Locked to Orange.

I'm buying an iPhone 4.

Any questions please do ask.

If the replacement came from the Apple store then it's probably unlocked. Mine is.

Interesting. Will see if I can check this out.

Hi there - I'd be slotting an Orange sim in it anyway, so being locked isn't an issue.
Can you confirm the firmware version, how much warranty is left - if any - and put some more pictures up?
I'd take it for £230 if the above all checks out ok and you'd take the paypal fees.

Not true in my experience - they'll issue it with it either locked to a network or unlocked depending on what the phone it replaced was.
And in my experience, the first time the phone is firmware upgraded or restored it will default to the original phone's lock status.

Firmware is 4.2.1, warranty will be October 2011 I guess. £230 yes + p&p at £5

No worries on the £5 P&P if it's royal mail special delivery.
Consider it a deal, but can you pop up a few more pictures - I can't see much on that picture in the original post. And can you check online at Apple that the warranty is definitely till October?

Here are some pics:

It seems the warranty has expired but this shows when it was replaced:

Thanks for putting the pictures up and checking on the warranty - I'll have to have a think about it though seeing as the warranty is up as it's more of a risk than I'd thought when I made the offer.
I was aiming to upgrade from my current 3g to a phone with warranty as I know these things are expensive to get fixed.
I'll sleep on it if that's ok and come back in here tomorrow.

Thats fine.

Any interest in a trade with a Blackberry 8520 ?
#17
I think it's a fair price, so I'm not going to try and haggle you down the odd quid - but I am going to pass on it. The warranty was a major factor for me and I'll hold out for one that has one. Good luck with the sale.

OK - I've come back sniffing round!
What's your lowest delivered and I'll see if it's worth the risk of something going wrong and it needing fixing.
