I may be able to budge a few additional quid but not a great deal as I only have limited funds available to me. Given that you can buy a reconditioned one from apple for £749 with possible education discount that comes included with 1 years apple care.

The value of the warranty come to to £195 (although it's for 3 years so it isn't a true reflection) also Viking direct had them for sale new a while back for £750.

Given that it is used, outside of warranty and has a tiny dent I fell £580 is fair.

You can't get education discount on refurbished products. Refurbished products are already discounted by around the same % as the education prices.

If you put this on ebay I think you'd be looking at about £700ish at best, after fees etc you'd be down to about £650 overall, so if you want a sale I'd suggest moving your price down by about £100.

still for sale

marke1, I just sold one of these same spec machines boxed including a case and the superdrive for £680 cash. I reckon I got a good price for it as these are selling for very little these days. As I said on another MB air thread, you'll do well to get £700 for it. if yours has a little mark and doesn't even come with the superdrive or any extras, then you'd do well to get £650.

i would except £700

OP,no offence but you ned to be more realistic if you want to sell, the mac2sell price has dropped to £550(wether you agree with it or not) with the recent Apple revisions and price cuts, would suggest ebay as you stand a better chance of getting slightly higher price

Good luck
