Hi there,

How old is the box , do you have receipts and can I ask where you bought it ?

Also some of the reviews of this box say it is really loud - is it ?

Thanks in advance

Regarding the perceived loudness, I must say that I do not hear anything at all with mine.

It may be just mine, but it locks up regularly(Switch on and at the plug to clear), and some of the programmes that I have recorded can not be removed from the library.

Would you recommend it though Thesaint ?,Not so worried about the occasional lock up, but the programme issue is more of a concern. I have been looking at these as the value for money aspect cannot be ignored, I have just cancelled sky + and looking for an alternative. I am really hoping that Sky will offer me an incentive to come back in a couple of months (always have done in the past), so been looking at these as a potential - but maybe longer term filler.

Do you have any feedback elsewhere ?

If so then I would be prepared to offer £45 delivered as you can get refurb units for £55 ?
