Computer is in very good cosmetic condition, never been dropped or anything like that.

900Mhz Celron processor.
4GB SSD
1GB Ram
Running Ubuntueee

No charger as it was lost when I moved house they can be picked up for around a fiver on Amazon though. They GF has one so we shared.

Premium quality Asus EEE pc 700 701 laptop charger with: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

It's the standard (2Cell IIRC) battery but truth told could probably do with replacing for a higher capacity one.

reviews say 'Schizophrenic Wi-Fi, Decent Battery Life'
Our one major gripe with the Eee PC 4G Surf is that it occasionally has trouble connecting to secure Wi-Fi networks. We encountered two secure home networks that the 4G Surf wouldn’t connect with until we deleted them from the list of preferred networks and entered them manually. The 4G Surf had no problem recognizing our office router or open networks. We saw close to 3.5 hours of battery life while performing our day-to-day productivity chores. That’s less than the usual 5 hours of endurance we’ve seen from other ultraportables, but this runtime is acceptable for a machine designed as a secondary PC.

however i am still intrested.

On this 2 cell bettery I got around half the time mentioned here 1hr - 1hr and a half, some versions shipped with 2cell other with a 4cell I'd guess it was the 4 cell on that review.

take at asking

Excellent, just to be clear mate I should say that the battery is going on 3 years old and is probably on it's last legs (I get about half the time I got from new, a bit more If I charge over night) I can't give you a accurate idea as ubuntuEEE and Easypeasy - the two linux builds I've used are buggy when it comes to battery reading and will regularly tell me it's got 19 hours in it, I've read it's a common problem across all the 'Ubuntu netbook edition' EEE variations.

fine not bothered about battery as have a spare- does it come with original restore disks n a pic before I buy would be great
#10
I'm making it sound worse than it is, I wouldn't have mentioned it were it not for the other poster mentioning 3.5hrs.

I'll take a pic There's no rec disks they were in the box with the charger during the move the whole box went walkies luckily I had the actual system with me.

Piccy added, camera isn't the best sorry but you get the jist. no marks or scratches on the unit. No wear on the keys or trackpad.
