I have placed gpus mobos hell even cpus on top of anti static bags when upgrading and taking apart computers and have never had an issue. I once in a rage when a mobo died placed my gpu circuit board down on carpet for several hours and it still works fine so I doubt highly that any issues will occur from placing a mobo on a anti static bag for a few photos which is pretty common on Ebay and other sale forums

Predicted that response but that just shows lack of understanding as to how esd impacts components over time (i.e. oxidation). However, for those who have never considered, the reason it is a poor decision to put items on top of the anti static bag is due to the bag being designed to protect it contents. It does this by redirecting charges around the outside of the bag. The principal is that of a Faraday cage.
