These are in stock at my argos @ 39.99, may want to reconsider your price?

You may want to read the description properly - this is a modem/router (for phone line ADSL users) - you linked to a cable router. Totally different product.

So they are selling for £70 JUST the router. So I assume the version WITH a modem is http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-N1-Wireless-Modem-Router/dp/B000MPKYZ4/ref=dp_cp_ob_ce_title_1 that sells for £90?

Is this correct?

Argos are selling it for just under £60.

These old 802.11N MIMO routers were a technological stop gap, so customer who didn't want to wait for the finalised 802.11N standard could go and spend some money/get some extra speed and coverage.

Personally I would stear clear of them, because it is difficult to predict compateblility with the various makes/models of wLAN cards in todays laptops.

Reading up on this model on Belkin's support site, revision 3000 of this router is 802.11N draft 2 compatible (with the latest beta firmware loaded!)

It is the latest 3000 revision and has already the latest firmware flashed. No problems running with either of my 3 PC's (desktops and laptops) all with different N cards.
