Are you absolutely sure about going for £50 AGP card? What computer have you got just now?

If so...I would go for ATI 2600XT but do not expect too much.
Also, slower (and older) alternative 7600GT

What kind of games are you thinking of playing on your 'new shiny' AGP graphics card btw? And, as 7777777 asks, what are your PC specs? Please post CPU, RAM, motherboard & power supply - make & model number of the latter two.

I may have an AGP X800XT 256Mb DDR3 that I can sell you for considerably less than £50 - let me know if interested & I'll post a price & photos. It'll need a spare 4-pin molex cable from PSU to power it.

7777777, I think the OP means a secondhand one, where s/he is likely to get a much better one for the same money or cheaper

Yep, if he does not neccessarily need Pixel Shader 3.0, cheaper X800 are worth considering as the X800XT is as fast as both of my props - I believe, the X800XT is on DDR3 ...?

My card will play CoD4 to some level, but you can get a better secondhand card for £50 (shooting my sale in the foot, but that's the truth ).

Try to aim for a X1950 / X1900 / 7800 / 7900 series card, or similar.

What PSU do you have in that Dell? If it's a 300w one it may struggle with a power-hungry card. 350w & above & you could be fine (Dell underrate their PSUs).

yep seen that card on ebay and its kinda cheap and it s good so thats useful.

will it work in my p.c?

also ill find out what psu i have.

Yes it should, if your PC:
a. Has a free 4pin molex connector (if not, an adaptor-splitter type cable, which converts 1x 4pin molex to 2x 4pin molex may work), and
b. Has a 300w or above PSU (Dell PSU only, otherwise 350w & above may be required).

Let me know if still interested.

Not worth getting a PSU unless you get a really powerful & power-hungry card - you may need to spend at least £30-40 to get a better one than the Dell's.

you interested in any xbox 360 games...
#12
No, don't own one.
#13
ok ill make a cash offer after finding out what my pcs psu is. Saw a x1950 for £35 plus p&P but its too powerful for my needs i think so i think yours is the most suitable.

That would be ideal actually - PSU permitting of course. Just make sure to bid on/buy an AGP card though!

The X800XT comes boxed btw, but is likely to be cheaper to post in a smaller box.

Still interested in my X800XT? I also have a X800XT Platinum Edition card.

A 7600gt should run CoD4 and Unreal Tournament, but not extremely well. I have one and it works fine with my rubbish PSU. (Less than 350W I think)
