how does this work?

thanks

Don't do this m8, i did and got burned! when i did it people came back and said that the number of times you could dl the game had been maxed, meaning that if you change ya HD or anything happens to your PS3 you will have to buy the game again yourself.

In a nutshell im guessing that someone on here gave my details to a friend and they dl'd also.
#3
do you lose the games after you have swapped? i read reports after 30 days they revert to trials im curious as i can do this with a family member

thanks

no bassicaly , we swap each others accounts for a couple of hours , change the password
, then when were both finished we change it back

easy as that and once the games are on your hard drive , there yours forever just like you had payed for them , but if you delete them there gone forever

each game from psn can be downloaded onto 7 ps3s

I have bought Siren on PSN, but not sure how safe this trading across PSN will be, since I have my credit card detail attached to my PSN account.

Can you change your passwords after the trade to prevent something like that?

Yeah but you have to give time to the person so he can dl it, nothing to say that after he/she is finished they pass the details on to a m8 so they can dl. You have to remember that you are letting someone access not just Siren but your entire PSN dl's and the temptation for dodgy folk might be too much for them to resist.

Also it's not 7 times it's 5 as far as im aware.

Guys don't do it! unless the person is a trusted member on here and has mega f/back on fleabay.

#13

Crash Commando 7.99

Wipeout HD 12.99

Okay, I might swap with you... I have Siren: Blood Curse all 12 episodes, and few other PSOne classics, etc.

Let me do some research on how to change passwords and remove redit card info, etc.

Here is a previous listing where I raised similar concerns over dealing in PlayStation Network accounts:

"EXPIRED - FOR Trade: PS3 PSN Games"

Note that sigma (Margerator) closed the thread prematurely.

I will also add that once somebody has control over your PlayStation Network Id they can change the associated e-mail address, create sub-accounts off the master account, reset the e-mail address & hand back control to you.

Unless you specifically look for this activity the first you will know about it is when the sub-account is created & associated on another PS3 console & (if a monthly spending limit has not been imposed on the sub-account) you receive an e-mail informing you that a charge has been made to your credit card for activity on the account.

you just remove all the details - card details and stuff and the worst thing that happens is they keep your account

Yes, you do all that before you offer the details to someone else but, if you follow what I did above, as soon as the account is handed back & new card details are added (or reinstated), the person you loaned the account to has access to your payment details for their own use.

Also, if they keep the account they also keep your entitlements to future promotional offers, invitations to beta programmes & trophies collection.

Thanks, but no thanks.

I have just checked the trading rules and this sale may be prohibited due to the following clause:
---
(4) It should go without saying, NO prohibited, classified or illegal items. This includes fake/counterfeit goods, copied media, ANY console cards 'TTDS', 'DSTT' or 'Pandora' batteries etc., money swapping' such as bank transfers of £xx paid in to others PayPal account for £xx amount, group specific discount codes such as 'student card numbers' for example, weapons of any kind, alcohol, tobacco products or illegal substances, gaming accounts such as 'Steam' which are non transferable and any similar trades will be expired and closed.
---

Perhaps a Moderator could offer their insight.

Thanks.

fp.

After reviewing the information provided by Hero_2007 & fanpages & looking at the PSN website I have to agree that these accounts are person specific & linked to their credit card details etc & are not meant to be sold or traded. I am therefore locking this thread as per the following FS/T Forum rule which has only recently been reviewed & updated by Admin to cover online accounts :
(4) It should go without saying, NO prohibited, classified or illegal items. This includes fake/counterfeit goods, copied media, ANY console cards 'TTDS', 'DSTT' or 'Pandora' batteries etc., money swapping' such as bank transfers of £xx paid in to others PayPal account for £xx amount, group specific discount codes such as 'student card numbers' for example, weapons of any kind, alcohol, tobacco products or illegal substances, gaming accounts such as 'Steam' which are non transferable and any similar trades will be expired and closed.

Please do not re-list.
