I haven't played in years so it is just gathering dust

I have no idea what it is worth but i remember it being very expensive and my parents going berserk when i quit a couple of months after i had bought it.

All offers welcome and i guess ill start at £150?

Tell me if that is waaay over the top

You'd be better taking it into a local music shop, but £150 for second-hand blue trumpet is a lot of money! We've just bought a brand new trumpet for our daughter for £120. Music shops can get musical instruments from China for very little money and the quality is excellent. A few years ago you'd have needed to pay in excess of £300 for a plated trumpet, but with the influx of lacquered ones at very cheap prices the market has collapsed. Why pay £300 when you can buy one which sounds just as good for £120?
