Is it an official retailer eg. Amazon or an aucction site eg.Ebay, Just read Sony's warranty section, auction sites and second hand consoles wont be eligible for repair under warranty.

And when did you buy it (if you dont mind)

(and I'm assuming it was an unwanted gift as reason for sale)

Alright, would it be possible to check the contents when/if I definitely decide to buy it once we meet up,
And is there any way to see it working, Sorry I'm a bit paranoid about it being a dead console (happened before to a mate)
And are you open to offers (reasonable offers)

No problem, yes open to reasonable offers.

Are you willing to accept £250?

And I guess the real problem is finding a power souce and TV to check if it works...

And do you have any selling account (as you are new here) where you have seller feedback (most people post their ebay id), this gives a bit of reassurance to me as a buyer (new sellers 70% of the time do this)

Please let me know what you think, I really want to try and pick it up today if we can mutually agree on a price!

I don't have a ebay and I can agree to £260 but no less. You will need to withdraw the cash from a cashpoint in my presence of wait till tomorrow when bank is open. But yes today is possible
#12
I'm very happy with the price and agree. But I've actually got the cash at home.
I can't do today anymore.
Is the cash point thing to confirm authenticity of the money?

yes just to confirm authenticity. I don't mind tomorrow but you will need to follow me into a Barclays branch to put it into my account. Thanks
#14
Is the branch near?
And can anything be done regarding seeing the ps4 working
#15
Branch is right near the station. I think the PS4 actually makes a noise even if there is no power, would that be enough? I only work in the area I don't know what I can do in regards to that
#16
Not sure...can I ask you to print and bring the Argos receipt, it will give me reassurance that the device isn't stolen or dead. And also for the future for any warranty claims
#17
No problem, as I am a new account I cannot PM you. What time would you like to meet etc?

Hello Mod I am a new account I usually use the site for just deals and it is a great website. How can I conclude a deal without being able to PM is there a procedure I must follow.

Same... what station and what time is best for you. And I'll need to get your number to know where you are at the station but I dont think personal details like that are allowed to be posted on this thread

I am amazed someone would purchase a new ps4 a couple days ago then join a site to sell it for over £100 less than they paid for it. Sorry to be a sceptic.

That's what I'm thinking. Can the OP not just take it to Argos store and return it for refund, instead of losing £100.

Kamilo, please send a report with evidence of what was paid for this item. Thread locked in the meantime.

Update, Thanks for the report, you have already agreed a deal here

so offering it back up for sale afterwards is not allowed

Also, in your first report you clearly stated this was a gift, but in subsequent reports you say it was purchased via paypal.
Note that backing out of an agreed deal with member LBPMAN1 is not allowed, Therefore please send a report to let us know why this is back up for sale and also since this was now purchased via paypal include a photo of the receipt or invoice next to a piece of paper with your hukd name and current date on to show how much was paid for this item.

I am very confused as to what you are saying it is almost like you are trying very hard to make me into something I am not. The GIFT was PAID via PAYPAL, I did not buy the GIFT. Is it impossible to pay for a gift via Paypal?!?! Is it also impossible to request a EMAIL RECEIPT from the relative?!?!
In regards to your first point which is back up option, I do not actually think a guy saying 'I will need your number etc' and then not replying to my PM can be considered as closing a deal as like I said he could of been a time waster. I didn't say it was still available after 1 minute, I said it after 3 hours of waiting for a PM that never came despite his replies being very frequent before that. I understand your point but it seems you are too busy trying to paint a negative picture of myself instead of actually trying to resolve it. Our deal was only concluded at 00:54 am via Whatsapp when he agreed to meet me at 12 midday today. I will see how that goes and in future I think as a Mod you should actually read PM as a non-biased person because I am actually offended at how my first attempt to sell on this website has gone. Nonetheless I will act like nothing has happened and I won't need to send a receipt unless he doesn't fulfil his meeting with me. Which I will be more than happy to do thereafter.

P.S. To anyone reading this who may think my message comes across rude etc, I have sent 6+ emails explaining myself very clearly but for whatever reason the Mod in my opinion is unable to read it without creating a premeditated negative bias of myself so I do apologise for it but it may be the only way he decides to actually read the content of my reply.

Don't worry mate, there are times when this happens to every new person. It's just protocol, don't take too much offence.

I agree would be easier on the heart however would rather have the money asap hence why I put it here. I also chose here over gumtree because just like everybody else I was sceptical of dodgy dealings and imo this site would probably have less dodgy people. Hence why I asked to meet in a barclays branch (So money can be processed into my account immediately) Or money be withdrawn from cash point in my presence because I'm not willing to try work out whether I'm being given counterfeit notes or not.
#32
Personally if you can supply the receipt, you'll sell this in a heartbeat.

If you can't it's 90% worth opening and firing up, and taking additional working pictures.

If you do neither, this will probably remain unsold.

Guy who claimed would meet me at 12 midday today has told me at 11:25 he is no longer able to come. Item still available for the same price. I have cleared up everything I can, if anybody is interested available for collection in Camden near barclays or anywhere locally

Ask buyer to meet you with a big money bag of 250 £1 coins :D

I'd be interested OP, but as you are a new member... How would I be able to verify the console is working before handing over the money?

Any suggestions?

why not return it back to the store.. you say it is unopened and you have the invoice details so they will accept it back and give full refund
