Hi, sorry it does not come with a receipt as it was a gift. It is brand new and you can come see it in person and test it before you buy.

http://www.multizoneav.com/Product/PANASONIC/LCD_%26_Plasma_TV/TXP42G20B/

http://www.johnlewis.com/230878195/Product.aspx?source=63258

They have been cheaper than this as well

ALso here:

http://www.dixons.co.uk/gbuk/panasonic-viera-tx-p42g20b-42-full-hd-plasma-tv-04853532-pdt.html?srcid=369&xtor=AL-63&srcid=369&xtor=AL-63

use code TV40 and it will knock £40 making this tv £637 with a 1 yr gurantee

and as of Tuesday 19th here:

http://www.frogcompare.co.uk/compare/panasonic-tx-p42g20b.html?gclid=CL-YlJrJ3aQCFdD-2Aodgwf2LQ

making it £607 using that code from Dixons however i have checked the site and its on there for £677

Hope that helps

Failing that Richer Sounds have it for £649 with a standard 1-year warranty (note that according to the link this is the "A" variant, which if anything like the G10 series means that the firmware will allow more fine-tuning options...)

@lavondys the MultiZone and John Lewis links are £70 more not a few pounds so I don't know what you class as a few pounds but £70 certainly isn't to me.

Also the Dixons one is £637.49 with discount code. I don't know how you can get it to £607.

I think people would rather pay that little extra for peace of mind from retailer.
You have no receipt.
Any ideas where it was purchased and how old it is

Hi

as i put last night with regards to Dixons

lavondys
making it £607 using that code from Dixons however i have checked the site and its on there for £677

I can def clarify that it was down to £607 last night using this website:

http://www.frogcompare.co.uk/compare/panasonic-tx-p42g20b.html?gclid=CL-YlJrJ3aQCFdD-2Aodgwf2LQ

I also did say that it has been cheaper.

Disregarding the above i think unless you could produce a receipt in any circumstance i would much rather by the extra £7.49 to gain peace of mind AND at least some form of guarantee.

you also stated:

I think when were taking about buying something for hundreds of pounds and also taking into account that fact I did say they have been cheaper i think this needs to be taken into account. I should know as ive been after purchasing one of these for the past 5 weeks.

Even though you have been a member of this site for nearly 3 years. longer than me ill also add, you have no feedback on this site, you have not got a receipt, you offer no guarantee, you got it as a gift and your trying to sell it for 7 pounds less than what it can be bought for brand new from a shop with a 1yr guarantee. Therefore i think on a whole my comment about a few pounds being £69 can be taken with some form of relaxation!

Regards

Lav

@lavondys It was £607 but not any more. So the next best price is £637.49. Obviously the £630 on my listing is the starting point. I am open to offers. Cheers

I'll offer £250 for your "unwanted gift"

I just don't get how you get an unwanted gift thats worth so much! and have no way of getting it changed for somthing you did want!

£250 :p I know I don't have a receipt as it was a gift but it's brand new.
#17
I'll match the 250
banned#18
why dont you simply ask for the reciept from the gift giver as tis is sounding like a back of a lorry deal to me
#19
If the item is faulty you would need the receipt anyway......there is no valid reason why you should not ask for the receipt from the person who gave you this"gift"
#20
Basically the TV is brand new and I can open it and show the buyer that it is in full working order before buying (even though it's brand new and sealed). Unfortunately I do not have the receipt.

Ok ill offer you £250.01 and the half eaten jelly baby that ive just found in my old works jacket.

I wouldnt pay any more for a "second hand", "Brand new" tv with no receipt or guarantee.

You might get £250.01 and a whole jelly baby if you advertised it on Ebay.

So you've never bought anything on here or elsewhere without a receipt? You've never bought a 'used' item without a receipt? (_;)

p.s. Sorry if I don't have the receipt but if you are not interested in buying please keep your comments to yourself. Thanks!

Previous thread here reported no ebay account in existance, however latest response refers to an ebay account with feedback from 2006 onwards.

I'm not going to attempt to understand the reason for the previous denial, other than to highlight the fact that we expect all members here to be trading in an open an honest manner.
