Hi,

I have recently moved over to Sky Broadband and therefor have my BT HomeHub 2.0 and handset which i used for approx a year.

Units are not boxed however incredibly easy to set-up and plenty of information online regarding the Homehub.

Any questions - fire away.

interested in selling the handset separately?

Perhaps I could be.
I'll leave the post open for a day first as I'll just end up binning the homehub if i keep it.

If your moving over to Sky mate it might be worth keeping it & unlocking it as Sky only do G routers

I'm using a BT Hub 2.0 with Sky now & it's much better

Even to phone works with it

I had considered that but I am
Happy with the sky coverage with their wireless AP. Living in a new build with plasterboard Walls have some positives.

can these be used with other voip providers yet?
@robbie, did you have to hack for this or is the hub unlocked by default (still using my hh 1)

You have to hack it but there's loads of tuts on Google

I don't know if allowed to post links to a hacking site on here but if you get stuck PM me

The Hub phone fully works but is not plugged into my phone line only thru the broadband so I assume its VOIP

Tons of stuff on google re custom Firmwares for the HH2.
I had initially considered doingthis but have bought a new set of phones now and hidden my WAP in the cupboard to stop small hands touching it.

v2 of the HomeHub requires soldering to unlock it (v1 was software-only unlock).

All this chat and banter yet nobody makes an offer :-p

Only joking, appreciative that somebody can answer potential buyers questions.

Cheers

Actually, its a bit more finessed than this, BTHH2 verion *A* can be soft-unlocked, bersion B cannot without JTAG [soldering] mod.

Cheers for the update.
Just checked mine and it is a version a according to the rear label. Pictures avaliable if required as proof prior to purchase.

Still avaliable despite all the advice above.

To summarise - I have the version A of the BT Homehub 2 which means it can be soft nodded to work with other ISP's (or upgrade from the HH1)
