pretty sure mate as its loaded onto your steam account now it cant be reused, its the only problem when games run off steam.

EDIT: Dont want to keep bumping your thread, im pretty sure tho once "activated" it becomes useless even if you delete, the new buyer cant even play single play i dont think, as i bought brink for pc and didnt realise it run through steam and im not keen on the game and sadly cant sell it so ive lost out.

Im quite sure they cant use it, but i will search abit for you.

EDIT 2: Once you use the CD keys they're locked to your Steam account, you can't sell the games without the account. thats from the black ops thread on steam forums.

just want to apologise as i didnt mean to spoil your sale, i just wanted to clear things up for you so you dont have any mishaps if someone bought it.

If I delete the game from Steam then can it be used online for new buyer ?
If not does that mean the buyer can play it,but just not online ?

If the serial number has been used then maybe it can't be used again, but I can't see why the game it's self can't be used someone else's PC.
If I was to buy a new Hard drive & stopped using Steam then I would by law ( I think ) still have the right to play the game as I'm the owner of the game......Confused.com>>>>>>>>>>

i get what your saying but as black ops and a ton of other games run through steam, if you dont have it ( steam ) then you cant play the game, and because the game is on your account the disc/manual everything is useless now as you can DL the game from your games list rather then using the disc.

it ticks me off as i said about brink, someone will try to install, itl ask for serial then say its invalid, its so flawed.

it is confusing, in my eyes once purchased a game we should be able to do what we please with it, but with steam it isnt the case and it most likely wont change.

OK bud thanks for clearing that up for me.
I guess that's possibly one of the reasons why people just download the game instead of buying it out the shop :-/

No longer for sale as the game is useless.

i got caught out the same, once it's assigned to a steam account, it's useless.
