I actually prefer the waterproof ones as if little ones wet in the night you dont have to worry about getting protector clean and dry, you simply wipe it dry
I got mine here its a full set a good but i reckon

My son has only just stopped wetting the bed and I've tried loads of types. Best ones are the ones from boots which are waterproof but not plastic. They dry within the day too unlike other ones. Bit of advice if you want it is to buy some disposable cheap mats ones from asda then put a sheet over it and then put your waterproof sheet and then another sheet. That way if he wets the bed you can just pull off the waterproof sheet and the top sheet and you still have another bed underneath.

They are about £15 but I found the ones with ones with plastic backing just ripped. If they have material one them they also take forever to dry as you can't put them on the radiator. I would either go for a very cheap plastic with no material so it wipes clean or one like the boots one. It took me 3 years to get my son dry at night so I've tried a few different things. They also do the washable mats but my son always seemed to miss it!
