Chipped Wii with lots of Extras! £270.00

Hi,

I have a chipped Wii up for sale. It is a PAL console given to me as an Xmas gift last year, it was professionally fitted with a Wiikey around that time using a Wiiclip and not soldering, so it is easy to remove, incase you ever need to. The wiikey is all up to date and the actual console is in excellent condition as it has rarely been touched(apart from the eject and power buttons) and has not moved from its place in the TV stand for nearly a year now. The Wiikey has played every backup thrown at it. The console also comes installed with the Homebrew Channel so you can do any homebrew you want. Several Wiiware and Virtual console games are also installed on the console (obtained legitemately).

It comes with 1 controller and nunchuck as well as one copy of Mario Kart with a Wii wheel and of course also the classic Wiisports game. As well as this the Wii comes with a component cable for hook up to an HDTV and an S video cable for hookup to an SDTV with even better quality than the standard composite cable. All in all it comes with all the standard accesories/manuals of a normal Wii console including the above extras.

Price is £270 including delivery. Can be delivered in time for Christmas.
If you want, pickup can be arranged from Enfield, North London.

I do not have any feedback here although I have feedback over at avforums.com which should be more than reasonable, I have bought several high value goods on there (same username). For added security, phone numbers can be exchanged.
Shipping/Payment:
Paypal Gift only unless buyer is willing to pay PayPal fees.

Oh yes you can.

However you cannot sell DS Console Cards etc..

The console only comes with genuine games. Also you are allowed to sell modded consoles. I will upload pictures once a buyer has specified interest in buying the item as taking pics will take a while as I have to unplug everything etc.
#7
knock off £150 and you might get some interest. You're asking for WAY above RRP.

you must provide pictures in advance of finding a buyer

I think that you should have read the OP before commenting, this is not an ordinary Wii. I will provide pictures of the item with my username and date on a piece of paper next to them once someone shows an interest, this is because it would take me at least half an hour to do and I do not want to do it if no one wants to buy it.
#10
haha it's an ordinary hacked wii, with a wiikey, at a rediculous price. gtfo (i reported you but it seems the mods don't care)

Or it is rather late... give them some time :whistling:

They do have normal lives too.....like us.. (well... you know..)

No, no you do not. Stop telling this person (who has been here longer than you) what he has to do, when he doesn't have to do any of what you're saying.

Whatever happened to manners? Or common decency?

Funny you'd feel the need to make a comment like that when you've been here less time than both of us. And for the record:

(5) Please post images including a piece of paper with your user name and date next to the actual items for sale. This helps your sale or trade by showing the condition and also that you have the items in your possession. This is not a necessity but will go a long way to helping your sale and establishing validity. If you post an eBay image, we may pull the listing immediately to request further information.

(10) You must NOT list items for sale at higher than the recommended retail price. The marker of RRP will be determined by cross indexing with Amazon or other well known retailer.

It says please. NOT, that you must post pictures.

People need to actually read and comprehend the rules before they start waving them at other folk.

i think its more likely you will get warned for thread spoiling

and yes pictures should be uploaded
and no i dont think rrp applies here

im more concerned about "one copy of Mario Kart"

Funny how you're still being ignorant of the rules.. oh wait, it isn't; it's annoying and plain rude storming into someone's thread like this.

Rule 5: Not a neccessity

Rule 10: This isnt available at retail, hence no RRP.

If you have no interest then why are spamming his thread? Length of membership has nothing to do with the validity of your posts.

WOW! As I have said I will post pictures once someone has shown interest. It is a real Mario Kart nothing illegal comes with the system.

From now on unless you're going to be making an offer then please do not post.

While the price is very high, i don't the seller isn't doing anything wrong. The RRP i dont beleive counts as it has modifications, albeit not worth the extra £100 he is asking but thats what offers are for. If you could post pictures it will certainly help the sale, there is no real reason to wait until someone has paid interest and it normally is extremely beneficial for the seller to get them up as soon as possible. If you need any help uploading or displaying images give us an IM and ill happily provide you with a walkthrough.

Good luck with the sale,
Danny

of cause rrp should count otherwise what's to stop me selling my Wii with a sticker on the case and saying it's modified?

Finnally someone with a bit of sense. Usually I would take pictures before listing, it is just that as the Wii is connected to my carefully organised AV setup and the box is in another place it would be extremely time consuming to take pictures which is why I want to wait as if there are o offers then I will not have to go through the long process of hooking everything back up.

Of course people are free to make offers.

Well, I'm guessing because it would not be modified and I do not believe that you know what I am selling as you mention something about a sticker. I just read what you said again and it makes absolutely no valid point, it would be like saying that a car should be sold at RRP even if it has had a turbo charger fitted (bad analogy but you get the point).

I'm starting to regret listing it on this site, on other forums you would not get two pages of meaningless arguments and not a single offer.
#23
im guessing you dont have a dictionary otherwise you would know the definition of modified!
of cause i know what your listing a chipped or softmodded Wii to play pirated games
but if modifying it negates the rrp rule my point was all anyone needs to do is make a small modification to the standard console hence my sticker example :)
#24
at the end of the day, a new wii = 179, mario kart =30 and a wiikey = 20

Even if all this kit was NEW, it would be worth £50 less.

The guy is trying to rip people off, mini0ne, thanks for the support
#25
I can't understand this site anymore. Someone wants to sell something and people who have absolutely no interest in buying it ALWAYS come on and post negativity about the OP.

He's just someone trying to sell something. Do you go on eBay and report auctions because you've seen an item selling elsewhere cheaper? It's Christmas for heavens sake, people are trying to raise a bit of cash to get through it and don't need answers like these in their post.

This guy has now got 25+ answers (put off's) on his sale and not one person has offered him anything. Wouldn't it have been better for everyone to look at the post, think to themselves that it's a little steep and then go onto the next post and leave it to someone that might fancy a modded console and don't want the hassle of getting it done before Christmas? Or might not know where to get it modded!

Common decency, thought for others and tacked goes a long way!!

To the OP, good luck with your sale. Guys, people who frequent this site don't need you posting how you think the item is too expensive, they can make their own mind up and move on. It's also not how long you've been a member or how many posts you've got, it's down to treating people the way you would like to be treated. I'd hate someone to blatantly call me for selling something, especially if that person had no interest in my item anyway!
#26
nice thread. Can offer you 180 and i sort postage
#27
well?

This website is full of idiots and no mods to get rid of them. If you are not interested in buying then do not post, although I guess that that is the nature of the internet and its anonimity will always bring the closet freaks out.

MODS PLEASE CLOSE THIS THREAD AND I SHALL DEFINTELY NOT POST ON THIS FORUM AGAIN DUE TO THE LACK OF MODERATION AND THE AMOUNTS OF IDIOTS ON HERE.
#29
oh sorry to see you go :)

Last official post.

Are you stalking this thread waiting for me to reply or something because you replied straight after I posted. Anyways I can see from your post number that you have no life and like to spend your time arguing with people you do not know on the idiot instead of seeking real relationships with real people( I bring this up because I saw an article about a young boy like you who was very lonely on the newspaper today).

P.S: If there are any mods then please try to clean this forum up of idiots before everyone leaves.

Treat them all as bumps, but ask yourself why you don't have a serious offer...
