Selling this very hesitantly. I have moved up to a university residence, where Steam is blocked, cutting me off from my 135 game collection (no I am not selling my account, lol). I plan to be here for a year or two, and I have a new laptop so there's no need for the computer any more.

Would consider a part-trade with an iPad or an iPhone 4, maybe other things but not likely!

This computer is an absolute beast. I recently installed an SSD as an OS drive with Windows 7. This computer cold boots in 29 seconds flat! With an SSD, once you see your desktop, you're good to go! No need to wait on everything else loading first! You do need to defragment or index an SSD drive, and as a result of having a bigger secondary hard drive, you can back up the entire SSD to the hard drive for security.

I have spent £350 upgrading this computer in the past three months. It has cost me £1500 so far.

As the title says, it's got a Windows Experience rating of 7.1.

I would seriously prefer this to be picked up, as getting this down to Box and Deliver to be packed and paying for an insured courier to the UK would be both difficult and costly.

Key specs:
AMD Phenom II 965 BE 3.4 Ghz overclocked to 3.7 Ghz (stable).
Intel X25 - V SSD
Maxtor Diamondback 500GB HDD
ATI Radeon HD 4850
4GB DDR2 Geil Black Dragon RAM (2x2GB)
Windows 7 Home Premium - legal
Antec Sonata III Piano Black Case.
Medusa NX Gaming Headset
Samsung Syncmaster 22" widescreen LCD monitor
Creative GigaWorks T20 Speakers

Would sell base unit or Medusa Headset seperately.

Please, no stupid offers. Thanks for looking!

Should say that you DON'T need to defrag or index a ASSD

Antec Sonata III Piano Black Case + 500W PSU + PCI USB Card - £50
Maxtor Diamondback 500GB HDD - £20
Overclocked Phenom II + Gigabyte AM3 AMD785G - £140
Medusa NX 5.1 Surround Sound gaming headset - £30
ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB - £50
Logitech Revolution MX - £30
Creative GigaWorks T20 Speakers - £30

I assume that the Windows 7 license is non-transferable so it will just go to waste.

SSD has been put into the MacBook, so it's not for sale.
Monitor will be re-added if I decide to sell it seperately.

All prices include delivery. Thanks.

(xbox sitting on computer as I have nowhere else to put it... unholy mess of wires behind PC as there's no gap at the back of the desk to put them through, also why computer is on desk)

How big is the SSD? how for it?

The SSD is 40GB, to be honest, if the computer doesn't sell then I'm planning just to stick it into the MacBook. Thanks.
#8
Ah i dont now how big my OS is anyway, might be bigger than that
#9
It wouldn't be 40GB!

Why don't you keep your PC and use a USB Mobile Broadband Connection.

Pings are rubbish and theres no point paying for another connection

I really don't need morons wasting my time here, this is a trading forum, not /b/. If I don't get any serious offers then im just closing the thread. Thanks.

Lots of threadspoiling here. Now deleted- please ensure you follow forum rules at all times
#14
Turning off hibernation, system restore and maybe the page file stops the OS going into the double digits. I've installed games on the ssd and then the hdd to compare, makes little difference.
#15
might want to edit ur first post m8 wer it says You do need to defragment to you dont need to defragment,,, that can harm ssds and decrease there life span
#16
Right, given up trying to sell this as an entire package, lowering prices after consulting other people. Posting prices for individual parts up now.
#17
I suggest you just sell the PC parts. I doubt you would get a sale done on the full Desktop package.
Are you selling the Monitor? how much "?
#18
Would sell the monitor for £80 delivered, providing I'm confident I can pack it well.

Also guys, feel free to make any offers on the other components. Have basically reduced the overall price by 50%. Thanks.
#19
£25 for T20 ?
#20
wer bouts in belfast are u m8?
#21
What is the model number of the Monitor ?
Also I'll take HDD at asking price if delivered ?

In the University area. I'm free for pickup now, and any monday to friday to 2, then half 7 to midnight. Thanks

Samsung SyncMaster 2253BW, great monitor, only looking to get rid off tbh. Will be a pain in the ass to pack and will probably ship by MyHermes as they'll be the only ones that'll offer a sane price to the mainland.

Will accept your offer on the HDD... you'll need to tell me how you want it packed. I know the item's sensitive and it's unboxed. thanks.
#23
Do you have the Box,manual & drivers disc for the monitor ?
#24

Do you have the Box,manual & drivers disc for the monitor ?

Nope, nope and nope, hence the price. The 'drivers' disk was just a bunch of useless utilities, you won't really need a manual to plug it in, and the box was thrown out a mere two weeks ago but it'll be securely packed - there's a firm here specialising in packing items if needs be, but I'll certainly get the monitor to you in one piece. Thanks.
#25
will you do both for £95 PPG ?

Go on then. PM me with your details!

Would like to point out that the thread has now been transformed into a clearout thread, with a wireless reciever, PSP Go and WiFi adaptor added. Probably more gadgety goodness to come.

I can genuinely understand that. Tell you what, I'll agree to deal with you, don't pay me anything yet, and yes I'll take half up front and half later if I'm confident I can get the monitor to you securely. That sound fair to you?

Cool, pm me your details and I'll pm you mine. To be honest it takes the pressure off me a bit too because it gives me time to see if i can get this monitor packed well. It'll be professionally packed *if* the price is good and I'm not confident with my attempt to pack it (provided they don't charge me like £30 or something to do it).

#32
how much would you let the tower go for with everything in it?

Sorry, didn't mean to be rude, was thinking it over. I need to figure out if I'll be able to ship the item well, they're heavy speakers. Give me a few mins to see if I can pack them well.

Well I've already agreed on selling the hard drive, but i'd ship the tower with everything else in it for £330, professionally packed and shipped. You should be able to get a drive online for cheap enough. Thanks.

Edited keeping £110 paid toward windows licenses in mind ;). Don't forget that the SSD is also not included.

What is the exact motherboard model? Is it mATX?

I use a site called parcelMonkey & they only charge £6.87 to post up to 10kg.They use a company called CityLink who are OK but not as good as UPS in my opinion. If you have both Items wrapped in plenty of bubble wrap then you should be OK.As for Insurance on sending Items,I'm sure most Couriers don't cover Glass ie monitors etc.
PM on way bud.

Hey mate,

Me again, I trust you are still enjoying the Desire? I'm interested in the PSP, just wondering if you have registered it on the PSN yet? As I'd be interested in it at your asking price as long as I would be able to redeem the 10 free games promotion.

Well, MyHermes does claim to insure up to £250 but i'll check out their T+Cs. Will use tons of bubble wrap and filler. City Link and UPS will mug me for delivery to the mainland! Will check out ParcelMonkey too.

Sorry, that's why I bought the PSP myself. It's registered to my account now. Game will give me £100 cash or £120 trade in credit, so I thought I'd post it up to see if I could get any better offers. Sorry.

I bought it before I knew I was getting a rebate on an iPod Touch and your Desire (which is great by the way).

If it's any consolation, half the games are crap :-D
#39
Does the motherboard take DDR2 or DDR3 memory? Could you check that it is exactly the same model as the one in the link you posted (there seem to be 5 different 785G mobos at Gigabytes site).

Thanks
