Ok girls - nappy lesson 1 lol ;o) Easier to do it this way!
Regular nappies can be shaped as above and fasten with poppers or velcro (aplix) generally. They come in cotton, bamboo (dries faster) terry etc. You need a liner (can add more if needed) for absorbancy, and a waterproof wrap with these. Generally 1 wrap does 3 nappies changes (so you don't wash wrap each time!)
Pocket nappies are generally (but not always) waterproof so you just need to 'stuff' the pockets with padding ~ prefold nappies work best for this I find.
All in one's (AIO's) do what they say on the tin! generally have liner and waterproof outer included. (take longer to dry as they are thicker)
You add/take away inserts or liners depending on each individual child. Some wee more than others!
Nappies are dry pailed (no more soaking in napisan!) and washed every other day or so when you have a load. wash with half measure of powder and no conditioner as this lessens absorbancy. Air dried is better where possible as it lengthens the life of the nappy which if looked after will last 3+ children. (I put a teeny bit of conditioner in every few months or so just to soften them back up as we have hard water)
You can if you want use disposable liners or washable liners for the more ahem 'solid' contents to be easily disposed of!!
See I told you I was an anorak!!

I will be listing part 2 tonight, which are mainly first size and more of the white and neutral colours :o)

My daughter is 10 months old, and i currently use smart nappy which i really like but would like to see if there are any other easy and if possible not so bulky ones around, so what would u reccommend to be the best? oh and that dry quite quick?

Hmmm lets see!
The Bella Bottoms, Bambineo, Bambinex teddy and pockets are all quick dryers (teddy virtually straight from washing machine) You would need wraps with all but the pockets but the weenotions wraps are lovely and lightweight so not too bulky at all even with plenty of inserts.
The pockets dry very quickly too as you take the padding out and I always had a big stash of prefolds to use as liners (they are on my other nappy post)
The AIO's are a bit more bulky but easy as you just need the one nappy, take a little longer to dry though.
Hope that helps hun?? X
