i would say you would need soldering iron for it..but if you never solder before it would be abit tricky..

The first thing you need to do is make sure your xbox is hackable - Roadmap
And presumably if you buy this bundle you wont be purchasing the qsbs in which case this is the - wire install guide (phat) is here
Other than that there's tonnes of information and video tutorials :-).

like james said there are tons of tutorial available at tc website and lots of supports they if you stuck.
price lowered to £23 delivered!
cant see the kit on Modtrader and the programmer is £12-15?
still, id b tempted to punt £20 delivered and see where I get to as a project - if you interested in doing a deal?
i think the rec c is out of stock and cost 14.99
the jrprog is 13 but
