I could do with some more memory, how does £15 notes sound?
I will check to see what memory my motherboard can take.
It is 2x 1GB right?

No it's 1x 2gb

Sorry mate no good to me;
my mother board only supports the following.

4 X 240-pin DIMM sockets support max. memory capacity 8GB
Supports Dual channel DDR2 800/667/533 Un-buffered Non-ECC memory

Can confirm with OP/another user, but this RAM will work going by that information, it is 667mhz (see bold). BTW you can run 1 stick (dual channel doesn't mean you have to have 2 sticks).

thanks for that, i wasnt sure enough to say

Would have been interested in this, but a quick Google would suggest it's part of a 2 x 1GB kit.

In addition to this, the picture quite clearly shows that's a 1GB stick.

The first pic clearly shows its 1024MB = 1GB I'm afraid.

Have to agree with previous post that it looks like half of a 2GB kit - the sticker looks like the type SCAN.CO.UK stick on all components that they sell.
