D Link Wireless N Router.

Works with cable internet.

Comes complete with router and adaptor.

Getting rid of this as we have since moved over to ADSL broadband.

Router is in excellent condition but has one mark of green paint on it which can be seen in photos.

Hi there, would this work with a Virgin (cable/fibre optic) connection?

Ah right, you used it with Virgin too...is it hard to set up? or just a matter of plugging the cable in? I'm wondering whether to get this, to improve my wireless reception. As the freebie one that came with my connection, apparently isn't all that great.

Is this better?

I honestly don't know anything about the free one that they send mate, they never sent us one when we joined.

Yep it is easy enough to setup. Just plug it in and away you go. However you will want to change the default password and setup a wep key - if you don't know how to do this if you give me an SSID you want to use I will set it up and add in a wep key for you too. You will then just need to add the pc's / laptops to the wireless :-)

Cool, do you have the original box/cd/instructions? Though i think £20 is a bit too pricey, would you do for £10?

No I will not do any less than £20. Its going to cost me a fiver to send it!

The price I am asking is well under what you can get it for: http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=en&q=dlink+dir-635&scoring=p

I have the original box and yes the instructions I would imagine will be in there. The only thing I am not including is the wireless n range dongle.

The router I have is a DIR-635 however the box does advertise it under a slightly different model - this is simply because I bought the router and the dongle as a package together no other reason and if you match up serials etc they will match.

One other thing to note is the link I have given above is simply for just the router and power adaptor - again these do not include the wireless n range dongles, quite simply the price would be a lot more with that included too.

I am happy to sell the dongle but I would want around another £30.
