For sale is my rarely used Dell Axim X51v.

This is a top of the line 624MHz Intel PXA270 powered Windows Mobile 6.1 (Upgraded) PDA loaded with 64MB RAM, 256MB ROM, and a VGA (640x480) screen.

It also has WiFi, Bluetooth and a 2GB Sandisk SD Card. Accessories included are a single stylus and TWO official docking stations which connect/charge the unit via USB with space to charge a spare battery at the same time. I will also throw in the original Windows Mobile 5 Licence and Disks.

Software preinstalled as standard includes:
Office Mobile, Calendars, Contacts, Browser, Messaging Suite, ActiveSync, Games, Notes, Pocket RAR, Remote Desktop Mobile, Screen Capture, Windows Media player etc

For a review of the device itself, please go here:,39030065,39192548,00.htm

For a description of the firmware installed, please go here:

Battery life seems fine and the device itself is in superb condition.

I'm asking £75 for this item which is a very competitive price when you compare it against what they are going for on a popular auction site. Picture will be added when I get my cam up and running!
Payment using Paypal gift is preferred.
BACS/Cheque also accepted
Paypal payment (non-gift) is also accepted but please add the fees.

The item will be send via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded.
Please add £4 if you require special delivery for extra peace of mind/more insurance.

These things are worth £75!

I remember buying mine for £300 or similar "back in the day".

Please confirm if this item is still for sale. Also confirm if there are any scratches on the case / screen and if there is a screen protector fitted. Thanks
Hi fella,

Nope. The thing is spotless from what I can see. A collectors example if you will :-D

It's honestly had very little use and needs a good home soon.

Let me know if you're interested because I was considering shipping it off to fleabay - you'll have seen the prices they fetch there.

Oh yeah, and it's still for sale. I wrapped it all up a week ago so it's ready to go.
Has this been sold?
This hasn't been sold and dtc has not been in touch. Will most likely try and list in on Thursday unless I get interest here.

Oh, and I forgot to answer one of DTCs questions - it does not have a screen protector. The screen is spotless though so feel free to fit one.
Okay, did you upgrade it to WM6.1? Will you take £65 for it, paying by paypal gift or paypal and I'll pay the fees?
Hi smallblueplanet. There has been interest in this and I'm aware of the market there is for the devices on eBay so if you agree to meet me in the middle at £70 we have ourselves a deal. Otherwise I think I may hold out for nearer asking.

Remember I am throwing in Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded delivery in with the price. I have a good record both on here and ebay.
Can I just check does either of the docking cradles have the ac power supply to charge the pda?
Hey SBP - Neither have an AC supply since they charge in ~2hrs over USB. They go for around a fiver on eBay however.

In the spirit of HUKD I will therefore knock the price down to £65 so you can purchase yourself one and not lose out on the £70 I was asking. I really cannot say fairer than that.
And also if you respond in the next 3 hours I'll be able to post it along with another set of items :-p
Hi - I sent you a pm earlier just confirming that I have purchased a Dell Axim x51v from another source - yours is a good price though and I'm sure that it will sell soon.

Hi dtc333 - Thanks and hope you have a great time with it!
Hi stanglish

I didn't realise the pda could charge via the usb, I assumed the cradle had to be powered?

I'm just a bit nervous about the condition of the screen if its not had a screen protector, it looks a bit 'bubbly' in your picture?
Hi SBP :

I can assure you that's just a camera imperfection. The screen itself is fantastic. I'd take some more pictures but I've packed the unit up in bubblewrap ready for posting.

I'll offer you a full refund (excluding postage fees) if you're unhappy with it on delivery.
Hi okay stanglish, that sounds a fair offer. I'll take you up on £65 all in, cos I had a look at ac adaptors for the cradle price-wise and unless I can get a cheapie off ebay they're more than a £5.

PM me your details and I'll paypal you the money. :)
is this still for sale?
