For sale a good condition Dell D620. I will try to describe it the best I can.

Specs

CPU: Core Duo 2,16Ghz(T2600)

RAM: 3GB DDR2

HDD: 250GB(brand new)

GPU: GMA950 running modded drivers.

I've had the laptop for a few years, about a month ago I replaced the battery with a dell genuine one which was not used as since then I've used it only on the mains . Also the Hdd was replaced with a brand new weatern digital one. 2 weeks ago I have also replaced the keyboard. The laptop has xp coa as well and original charger.
The screen has a few very small dark patches(1mm) almost not noticeable which doesn't intervene in the laptops functionality. Also a few scratches on the lid from general use. Tried to describe the best I could, no returns, any question please ask. Also please see pics. All offers are welcomed.
Thanks for watching.

I'm interested but can't afford to pay a price that high! Can you drop it at all?
banned#3
Make me an offer...
#4
Unfortunately my budget is going to be too low to allow me to buy this. I only have £100 to spare which I presume is too low so I'm out!
#5
Oh and because of low feedback, I'd need this sent out first.
banned#6
So if you know £100 is too low, why bother? Yes indeed is a but low but nit VERY low. Any chance of increasing?got low feedback here bu high feedback on avf an eBay. Will sort something out with the postage.
#7
I bothered because you told me to make an offer! I said immediately that it was too high for me so backed out but declared interest!

If it's not very low, how low can you go?

Oh, and what size is the screen on this? And do you have driver CDs?

I would also like the service tag so I can see the exact specs since you have not provided information on screen resolution, CD drive, webcam, fingerprint reader (I believe this has one?), etc.

Screen is 14.1" 1280x800. No fingerprint reader(useless anyways), no cd driver, drivers available on dell website.(or if you install win7 the drivers will automatically apply). No webcam(2006 laptop lol).
Let me know if you need more info.

Cheers

Well in my previous post, I asked if it had a CD drive, the service tag number so I could check the exact specs on Dell's website, and what's the lowest you can go.

I searched for the Dell D620 and it appears that it does generally have a fingerprint reader, though not sure on the webcam, are you sure this isn't the case?

Edit: Apparently they don't have these, maybe an error in the review! it is the Latitude right?

Have you had it since new?

Edited By: AV1985 on May 25, 2011 13:04: Mistake.

is got a DVD-RW mate, not fingerprint reader and not webcam. The service tag is useless as the laptop was upgraded since it's original configuration. The HDD,RAM, CPU got upgraded.

Service tag: 1QB9H2J

No had it since new. Not sure what to say in terms of price...don't know how much you can increase you budget.

Sounds good. My offer of £100 is on the table for now and if you do drop your price, please let me know. I have a little leeway, but only a little!
banned#12
Definitely no at £100. I know the screen is not in a perfect codition but... Don't forget postage is included in the price.
#13
£110 to cover your postage then?

Can I have more info on the screen as I didn't quite understand what the faults are.
banned#14
Just some dark patches, better check the pics. No thanks at £110. Lowest will be £145.

Ok I'm out then, way too far out of budget! Good luck in selling.
#16
Is Ilford near you? If so, could you deliver it there?
banned#17
Can't deliver.
#18
Pity, thought might save some postage. No worries, offer of £110 is on the table. Note it's only on the table for a little while as I anticipate finding one in my other wanted thread!
banned#19
£110 for my laptop is too low considering what the other guy is selling.( a single core laptop)... Lowest is £140 I'm afraid.
#20
Ok good luck with sale. I'm liking this laptop but can't afford that!

No chance of increasing your offer to £140? is the £110 your absolute max?think I will sell it on ebay as I will get more...
This is great laptop for the money...it doesn't even compare to the rest you got offered in your thread...

On the basis of you sending first, I'll offer the absolute maximum I can afford which is £120 for it. Has to be take it or leave it!
#23
Actually checked finances and can stretch to £125, which isn't far off the £140 really, more than halfway from where I started! Go on, call that a deal!!
banned#24
I started from £175... Stretch a little bit more and it's a deal.
#25
I've stretched as far as I can go. I only have £125 in my PayPal account right now. It's either that or nothing, I can't go any further!

I can go £135...paypal account is usually linked to a bank account...I am sure you can grab £10 from there.

OK I'm out, good luck selling this :-)

If you change your mind by tonight, my final offer of 125 stands.

I will give you an answer tomorrow, if it's ok.

I'm going to buy another one tonight. My offer is on the table for about another half hour before I go to sleep
#31
Yes or no?
#32
Can offer £115 and collect it tomorrow.
#33
My offer of £125 was including postage which would be about £7 (via parcel2go hermes) depending on weight, size and value. I just sent a 8kg printer which cost me £6 and they collected from me so this should certainly be less. Value isn't too high, compensation of up to £150 is more than sufficient.

Thanks but I think is no point in offering lower than what AV1985 offered.

The reason that I wont go lower than £140(for now) is that I bought a genuine Dell battery and a new keyboard not too long ago. Both of them cost me £80. the HDD was £24.
#35
Fair enough. On the basis that this has a new battery so there aren't any battery issues, I'll meet you in the middle at £130. Come on, that's fair right?!

I was working on the basis that it would have cost you close to £10 to deliver it (with full insurance) and therefore £115 collected would have been the same as the offer from AV, but without the aggro,
So with that in mind, as AV is offering £130 delivered and as it WILL cost you clost to £10 to send it fully insured, I can offer £120 collected. You end up with the same money with zero aggro of having to book a couriter, wait in etc...

And of course, you can have the cash in your hand tomorrow.

Simon, this is pretty annoying.

I've said since yesterday I'm very interested in this and have offered, waited for responses, etc. And then every time I make an offer, you just make the same offer less postage to collect. This isn't an auction site where you're just one-upping me at every turn.

You don't even need a laptop. You're selling a laptop on another thread and buying this one here. Trader activity much?

I'm hoping a mod has something to say about this, even if it's to say that you can do this if you want but in reality, you're being very annoying.

There's nothing wrong with a member offering a lower figure (based on different terms also) than a previously submitted figure by another member.

You are only getting stressed becasue you know I am offering the better deal to the OP.
Its a free market, deal with it or go and play in the sand with the other kids.

You know what, sod it, have it.
There you can stop crying now.

I withdraw my interest.

And to the Seller... sending via courier, the cheapest is via MyHermes as the cry baby mentioned, but it will cost you £5.85 plus vat to send and then they will only insure it for up to £100 at a cost of £4.00 plus vat. If you did this way it will cost you £11.82 inc vat to send it insured for up to £100. Want insuring more than that and you are looking at HDNL or DHL which will cost a little more. Just a heads up.
