Would you split? Anymore details about the monitor? Model number perhaps, condition?

I'm pretty sure the mods will say it's against forum rules not to state a price as well so you may be best putting an estimate on before they tell you off :p

Well how does this sound (tell me if im over/under-estimating)

Monitor £250 delivered
Tower £250 delivered

Both for £450 delivered

Ill only sell seperately if i can get a buyer lined up for both items :)

To reiterate, everything is in pristine condition and i still have to boxes and original packaging :)
#9
its worth about £350

muffin247
its worth about £350

WHAT?! Seriously? Its gotta be worth more surely? :(

The monitor alone is worth a fair few quid im sure, plus the PC is a decent spec and only 7 months old
#11
yeah i think its about that

the base although a decent spec i bought a dell last week

with specs

E4400 -2.0ghz
2gb ram
320gb hard drive
etc etc

for £235 so your being used 2nd hand and lower spec i wouldnt price it more than £200

the monitor is a nice massive size but its not HD is it??? not that i think it is and the model shows its a budget monitor from dell

the only monitors i would consider from dell are the ultrasharp range which can be had brand new for £200

thats just my opinion could be wrong:thumbsup:
#12
Well the monitor is less than £250 new so I think I'll step well out of this particular one if you're looking for a price anywhere near that.

Ive had a look on Dell and this monitor is £296

muffin is unfortunately correct:
Your monitor is available direct from Dell at £296 with a 3 year warranty; yours being bought wih the PC only has 5 months warranty left.
Added to that is the current quidco discount and £10 bonus to bring it down to £274 delivered.
Ebay: can be picked up from a reputable trader for £235 delivered with 3 year warranty.
Your base unit from Dell with a slightly bigger CPU is £229 delivered then minus quidco, so around £222.
The complete system can be bought from Dell for £399 minus quidco bonus etc gives a price of £375 delivered..and that's a full 12 month warranty, 250 HD and a 2.0Ghz core 2 duo.
Sorry to be the bearer of sad news but I think I'd stick with it as best price would be around £325....including delivery PC prices are falling so quickly these days...bit like a new car!
Just to clarify this is the VOSTRO the black version of the E520 but essentially identical.
I guess you could realise more because it's white/silver an perhaps more aesthetically pleasing.

Ah, didn't read about the VAT. Still, little pricey for me considering you can get a good 22" widescreen with dvi new for around £200.
#16
a bit of advice

u can pick up the dell 20'' 2007WFP widescreen ULTRASHARP for as little as £200 with 3 year warranty

ok its 2 inches smaller but they both have THE SAME resolution and with the 20 inch having a smaller dot pitch it is way sharper and clearer

best monitor i have ever owned
#17
Well im gutted, i cant believe its lost so much value already :(

Any ideas as to where i might get a decent price for it?
#18
You could try gumtree or similar ...

Selling to someone who's not a member of this forum would probaly be your best bet :p To many awesome dell deals

fu5ion ebay is your best bet but then again its flooded with pcs
