Yes I was wondering the same ...is this the Dell model that has problems with fitting some graphics cards???..i may be barking up the wrong tree so please advise.

Reason is I got myself a shiny new XPS700 with Core 2 Duo.

I had a 7900GT 256MB PCI-E card in the 5150 but have moved that to my XPS700 that is now running SLI :)

I then popped the original X600 back into the 5150.

I had no problems fitting the 7900 so I'm unsure as to what problems people have had, sorry.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your response..it must be another Dell model that has restricted space for some graphics cards.

Bet the XPS 700 is a belter of a PC with SLI??..so how did you you rate the single 7900GT performance in the 5150?...the reason I ask is that my son is looking to upgrade his 6800.

I score 7550 in 3DMark '06 with the XPS.

Or to put it another way, I have everything turned up to maximum on FEAR and it averages 114fps. This is at 1600 x 1200 with 16x AA.

Single 7900GT in the 5150 was excellent - it ran every game I threw at it very well - the only thing I had to ramp down slightly was AA in a few games.

To sum up, an upgrade from a 6800 to a 7900 will be noticeable.

A billy bargain for someone, the warranty alone is worth at least £100.
