Bang an 8800gt or better and that'd be a pretty decent gaming machine.

its a good system and worth about £350 but ram at 667 compared to 800mhz is minimal and the card although dated can be changed easily for £80 but will run most games. 1tb HDD is good for now. Quad core Q6600 is great still

got one of these last year, excellent machine

Also have one of these with an E8400 and an 8800GT, it's a fantastic machine and seems to still run fine with no problems after over a year :)

I posted a request for advice on a PC

and was pointed to this one

and agreed a price. OP contacted me this evening though and said he had broken it and so no longer for sale.

Is yours better than this. Just need it really for surfacing ebay etc and photo editing. Mine is quite old and seems so slow.

Notts: Ye this one is better..

mini0ne i remember you expressed interest in my macbook for this..

My problem was with it, i wanted something possibly with a bluray drive, better GFX card and slightly better RAM.... I would trade my macbook for the system + ya 24" LCD and £220 (so i could get the additional parts i wanted) for the macbook.. Perhaps not a deal ya looking for but thought i'd ask.

Unfortunately tho i wouldn't be able budge on the offer.

That was me until I decided to defrag a Steam game on one of the hottest evenings of the year .... and killed the hard disk. So that one and only failure in 18 months of ownership was entirely down to my stupidity.

I love my XPS 420 and even though I am looking to buy a Mac (did I really just say that?), I won't get rid of my 420 as it's so good. £400 for the base unit is a great deal.
