They want to make sure others aren't conned....;-)

I have to agree with the first 2 posters. Have a look on ebay for what prices systems like this normally sell for and adjust accordingly. I hope you will see we arnt here trying to make fun or pick on you, merely trying to assist you in making a sale. If the prices you see are below your expectations I would think about removing the item from sale.

I hope that helps

so then what can i get for it den

No one said they was interested, it's just no one would be interested at that price

To help a guide people like me how dont know much about computers
#11
I'd say the £100 is more reasonable, but maybe even thats being a bit optimistic.
#12
I would start at £100 and let people haggle you down, do you have the license for your copy of windows?

I said a simlar spec system not too long ago for £70 mine was slightly better than yours (it was a 1.8 and had 2x80GB HDD) other than that i was pretty similar. It had a DVD RW and a DVD Rom / CD RW too

Because people would get more of a bargain in PC World than this thread.

Unbelievable.

BTW, I sold my 1.2 Athlon for £60 last year. That was generally for the legal copy of windows, as the hardware was a terrible and hadn't been used for a while, as I updated it in the late 16th century.
#15
I would not expect to get more than £70 for a system with these specs! Is the windows Copy A Genuine one with licence if so could add another £10 on top!

I would say the same, & I think £70 if your lucky mate.
May be worth while having a browse & see what similair systems are selling 4 :)
#17
I would say £70 including postage would be lucky.

Might be better splitting as your ram may be worth something on its own as its older spec and harder to find - chech fleabay and see what the components are going for as a guide.

There seems to be a hole in the top?
#24
and an extra 0 added onto the asking price! can you re think your price mate most people can get a dual core with 2gb ram and maybe a 8800gt and 200gb hard drive for that price
#25
I'd say about £35 delivered to be honest, maybe a tad more, I sold a Dell 170L to mackenzie on here and it had a 2.66ghz Celeron CPU which will be miles better than the 1.3 duron in this.
banned#26
yh the hole in the top was for a cd rw which broke and havent got round to putting another one in
#27

I'll get the ball rolling................

£20 including delivery?
#37
At least this silly post is getting BUMP's...

I have seen better spec machines on Freecycle...

Are you sure it is not a typo and should be £25??

The HP server deal at £129 is a much much better spec...

80 and 40gb hard drives..???

What are you trying to sell??

Also I thought people could not ask for over RRP?? If you brought the bits as NEW it would be under £250..
