As title - have some RAM that has failed and need to replace it. Needs to be ddr333 PC2700 memory. This is for an Asus A7V333 motherboard

Still havent got round to fleabaying these m8... BUT check if they will be compatible as they wernt with mine:

512MB, 184-pin DIMM, DDR PC2700 memory module
CT6472Z335

* Module Size: 512MB
* Package: 184-pin DIMM
* Feature: DDR PC2700
* Specs: DDR PC2700 • CL=2.5 • Unbuffered • ECC • DDR333 • 2.5V • 64Meg x 72

Can have them for what i paid £9 delivered. PS theres 2 sticks to make up the gig.

Having checked on Crucial, I don't think they will work as they are ECC modules and I need non-ECC ones - that may be where they fell down on your system.
ECC RAM is used in Servers - but I am unsure whether they *could* work in Desktops.

Iam after the same thing and today tried CEX and for 1gb sticks they are £18 ...

I have some ECC ram running in a desktop mobo, an old Socket A one.

Have only tested for 2 hrs but seems stable enough. Don't take my word for it though :)

Checking the manual that speed RAM isn't supported, so I'd rather not risk it, but thanks for the offer :)
