I have brought from amazon private sellers before - about 100 different ones and everything came quick and as described - but I haven't brought from any who are selling the DMG3 game

7 quid and you have a buyer :)

I was just going to post to say I have pre-owned copies of "Devil May Cry" & "Devil May Cry 2", and a brand new unplayed "Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening" (Special Edition) all for the PS2 that I was going to list as a 'bundle'.

Thanks for the "heads-up" on the current prices; trading-in may be a better option now :(

to be honest fanpages CEX will buy 1,2,3 off you for 9.60 all together or 12.80. and with my trade in knowledge thats a lot more than Game or gamestation will give you

if i didnt have 1 and 2 id probably give you an offer.

how much would you be willing to sell me devil may cry 3? is it still sealed and also is it special or standerd edition.

Thanks.

I'm sure it is still sealed; as I haven't opened it and, yes, it is the "Special Edition" (I think I said that above).

Perhaps if I list on eBay as a set I'll attract at least £20 for the lot?

I bought the 3rd title in GAME on the day of release intending to play it, and never found the time. I bought the pre-owned ones from eBay originally to get some history before I tackled the (then) last instalment.

Come to think of it, I did that with "Call of Duty" too.

I bought "Call of Duty 3" [PS2] the GAME Special Edition (with the Normandy Map included); that's still sealed. I got pre-owned copies of the first two titles, played the first one for about an hour, my 6 year old has played the second for about the same time, and we've never got any further. The third title is still sealed!

Ho hum.

Thanks for your offer, but please go to Play.com... I may keep hold of all three until the fourth instalment is either just about to come out (to maximize traffic), or just come out (to catch all those watching to go backwards in the series).

That's the benefit of an auction listing, as opposed to a Forum such as this. You can attract people to a auction bundle just on one title (or item, doesn't have to be games... could be books, CDs, DVDs, etc), and get them bidding against others who just want another.

Here you can find parties who will negotiate a purchase effectively together to keep prices lower, as long as the seller gets the price they were happy with in the end.

There are pros & cons to each method, obviously, it just depends if you want a quick sale, or not.

In this context, I'm not unduly bothered about selling or not... if somebody were to offer £20 for all 3 now, then I'd probably go for that, as it means I've then not left with either the first, or the second, on their own [if that makes sense].

Either way, thanks for your interest & thoughts.

In the "Special Edition" you can choose to play as Vergil (Dante's twin brother).

It also includes a new survival mode called "Bloody Palace" (with a total of 9999 levels), a new "boss" fight early on in the game (& optional fights later on), and a continue system so you can revive instantly, or restart the fight you just lost (as many times as you need to).

PS.
The US issue has a "Turbo Mode" for 20 percent faster gameplay.
The UK/European issue didn't have this!?!

Hell... my copy may be unsealed by the end of today at this rate!... if I didn't have "Heavenly Sword", "Colin McRae's: Dirt", "Ninja Gaiden Sigma", and "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas" on my PS3 to start!

I could just add the "Devil May Cry" titles to my WANTED thread as trades, I suppose...

The two are the same price aren't they (or they were on the release day of the "Special Edition").

If you bought in-store, you could always take back for an exchange of the "Special Edition" if they have it.

Thanks for that!

Re: QuidCo

I never knew eBay was listed; never even thought to look.

So, we've both learned something today.

Another bargain! :)

I'm on a roll.

Or is it a baguette?

Really? From my past trading on eBay the fees can be a huge hit on your sale.

If only I'd know that a few years ago when I bought a vehicle costing £17,500!

Oh well )

Yup... annoying huh?

Thanks for the "heads up" on your deal... all I need is an Xbox 360 now! ;)

That's one console I don't have (access to)... yet.
