What's reception like over long distances on this?

My O2 Wireless Box II and Linksys WAG160N are poor. 160N surprised me, cause wireless N to my Xbox should be better over long range I read, compared to Wireless B/G.

Is it easy to set up port forwarding/DMZ etc. O2 Wireless Box II doesn't even support DMZ!

How is the open source fw better/worse?

Very interested.

(ps. interested in my WAG160N?)

Thanks in advance,

Reception was good and covered my whole house and DMZ/portforwarding is supported. It was flashed with open source fw because it unlocks the full potential of the router according to what people on the net say such as increasing the signal strength?. I never had the chance to use the open source because my modem came with wireless built in. Although i would have thought original firmware could be flashed back if you want.
