Best way to get holiday money without paying the high commision/bad rates is open a Nationwide flex account then you just draw money out using an ATM and you get the commercial rate and commision free! I always use this method. I have a Nationwide credit card too which allows me to make purchases at the commercial rate and also commision free.

Meant to say, try this site for exchange rates:

http://www.comparetravelmoney.co.uk/

I used them and i ended up going with Saga at the time for the best rate. :)
