I've spotted sellers in the past on ebay that offer a man and van service for collection of large items, worth a look I guess

If someone wants to organise their own courier then that is great.

EDIT: op - what is reason for sale and where was it originally purchased? do you still have receipt?

Reason for sale is owner has moved abroad. Property only has 7 days left on rental agreement and I have agreed to help sell as much as I can of the things he could not take with him. I do not have any receipts for the item and do not know where the owner purchased it from.

So do you have the bed in your possession? And do you know anything about a courier service?

EDIT: just found this website: https://www.shiply.com/list1e.php could you fill it out with the dimensions etc and tell me how much that would be please?

The bed is in the home of the owner who has authorised me to sell goods on his behalf as he is no longer in the country and therefore is unable to do so himself.

I do not know anything about any courier services you could use. That would be for the buyer to organise.

Could you use the link to get an approximation please as I don't have the dimensions etc..

Have not been able to get a quote for a courier. I do not think that this would be taken by a standard courier, not just because of size, but also weight. Due to health reasons I am unable to assist in the moving of this item.

No takers?

Got to go today, open to any offers

I'm asking around my family to see if there's a need, since I'm coming over for the fridge/freezer.
Does the base come apart?
#17
I think so as I believe it came in pieces and had to be put together by my bro-in-law before he could use it. I had a quick look this morning and I could see a few screws for the slats and things

Yes it will should come apart ,ive a similar king size one which bolts in 4 parts,headboard,2 side panels and foot board, the slats clip across the 2 sides, problem is with the memory foam mattress as these are normally half matress with the foam on top but made as 1 unit, and unlike a memory topper difficult to fold up ,i will see how much a van will cost to hire and get back to you,do you have rough dimensions of the bed size ? also any marks on the leather
#19
Its faux leather and it looks pretty clean, I had a quick look for myself and it seemed ok. The matress is just solid foam and is very soft, wife said it arrived rolled up.
#20
ok ,if the foam rolls up it may fit in a hatchback as the rest will split down ,can you get size of the side sections as this will be longest part,i will check to see what iam up against size wise in my car cheers

subject to size confirmation ,30 and will collect if you need quick removal
