I have here for sale an original, 'phat' Sony PSP (Playstation Portable). It's in excellent condition, only minor signs of use that don't affect gameplay at all - the controls all work and are responsive, the screen is in excellent condition, certainly no defects that are noticable while playing.

PSP is in it's original box and comes with power supply/charger, USB-miniUSB cable, and two official Sony Memory Stick Pro Duos - a 2gb and a 32mb, plus an adapter to convert them to the older style of memory sticks for use in card readers or other devices.

The PSP has been updated with the latest custom firmware, version 4.01 M33-2, that allows you to play games from the memory stick as well as run emulators and all kinds of homebrew (including original PSX games that have been converted to PSP, which I was especially impressed with). Just a disclaimer - both memory cards have been formatted, so there are no files either legal or illegal included, so the buyer would have to find and download emulators or homebrew of their own accord, but if they have any trouble getting them to work I'd be happy to offer advice because there are a lot of settings on this thing and it's confusing if you've never done it before.
Features of this firmware include being able to update via the internet when new versions of custom firmware are released, and a recovery menu that has advanced features and can help if you ever accidentally brick your PSP.

Looking for £90 o.n.o. including postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

That's what the 'o.n.o.' part is there for. It stands for 'or nearest offer' don't you know
Don't just come on a thread and say 'that's too expensive' - you need to back it up by posting a link to somewhere where you can get them cheaper, or somehow prove what the average price is. (I don't mean to mini-mod, but those are actually the forum rules.)

I did try eBay, despite there being about 10-20 other auctions for PSPs with custom firmware that have safely sold recently, my auction got removed after just a couple of hours. Bloody facists! But I did manage to sell a PSP Slim with 8gb memory for £135, so this price is based on that, but I'm open to offers.

And, from market research (checking on Play.com), a used phat PSP on there is £80 and a 2gb Sony Memory Stick is £12.99. At £90 including special delivery that's £10 cheaper than Play's marketplace already.

Ok, just took these. There aren't really any marks or scratches at all, the PSP really is in excellent condition, so it was a bit tough to get any little bits to show up on camera.

The screen is very lightly marked, comes from simply wiping it with a cloth I suppose, which shows up if you look carefully in certain light, but the marks are not visible at all when the PSP is switched on as the backlight completely overpowers them. I certainly wouldn't call them scratches as there's no depth to any of them. The first photo is of a lamp reflected in the PSP screen and the marks don't show up, the screen looks perfect:

There are some marks to the silver ring around the PSP logo on the back, they only showed up when I used the flash on the camera:

The worst bit I could find are two marks, possibly hairline cracks, at the bottom, underneath the music and between the Select and Start buttons. This picture makes them look worse than they really are because it's zoomed in so far (in real life there's about 2cm between the two marks).

Hope that's satisfactory :-) There certainly isn't anything I'd call damage to the PSP and it still functions perfectly as none of this affects the controls or display in any way.

You'd spend more than that on a bricked/broken/damaged one usually, so good luck!

Bump.

As nacider hasn't got back to me after expressing an interest and there haven't been any (sensible) offers yet, I'll reduce asking price to £80 including special delivery.

Any takers?
