Please could you upload images of the actual item for sale to an imagehost such as PhotoBucket, preferably with your username written on a note in the images. Also, could you please provide feedback elsewhere, for eg an ebay username? Thanks.

very observant! the box was opened when received as the delivery guy needed a signature. rest assured that it has not be removed from the box then! its as new as when it went in the box at the factory!

can I also add that only one side of the lid has been opened (the other is still completely sealed) therefore I couldnt have taken it out!!
#14
How do you know it works? :? Might be faulty or damaged while in transit?

ridiculous statement. U could say that about anything. Its come from factory, and they generally send them working

I was just asking :x so they "Generally" so might be?
#17
I understand what you are saying, but as Johnball says everything comes this way

Plus there is a shockwatch device on the box (never seen one before) it goes red if the box has been dropped etc, its fine (white) now so im sure the TV is fine!

Of course, saying that, if the buyer would like me to take the brand new tv out of the completely undamaged box to test it I will of course be happy to :-D

smoles, been looking at the reviews etc and found this info on richer sounds. Can it be true that the contrast ratio = 800:1 - This seems incredibly low compared with other models..? And anyone know what this means in terms of picture quality? Full spec here: http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=HITA-L37V01U

my sammy 50 inch is 20,000:1

my sammy 50 inch is 20,000:1

what does the contrast ratio mean though? what exactly is lost with a lower ratio? 20,000:1 and 800:1 seems like a HUGE difference! It's the only thing I noticed on the specs which might explain why this TV is relatively cheap (and discontinued) compared with other 1080p models... anybody else have any knowledge about these things?
#22
The contrast ratio is 1500:1 from Toshibas own website, 20,000:1 is very, very high normally only availible on plasmas, Full spec can be found here, also manuals etc:http://www.hitachidigitalmedia.com/product_techspec.do?pt=17&pg=69&proid=614

for £410 this TV has to be a bargain!
