For Sale, good condition PSP Slim, working, except the screen doesn't work.

The PSP itself works fine, as you can turn it on, the power light comes on, and you can scroll through the XMB and hear the "Key Tone" as you scroll from icon to icon.

Apart from the screen, its basically fully working. Games launch fine and music plays fine (again you can hear the audio), its just the screen remains blank.

The screen isn't cracked or anything, its just that nothing shows up except the backlight comes on.

It also has Custom Firmware 3.90 M33-3 (I think thats the correct version)

I assume all it needs is a replacement screen.

Metal Circle on rear of console has minor scratching, apart from that its in very good condition.

To clarify:

1 PSP Slim (Dead Screen) Battery and Battery Cover are included

No memory card, games or charger
Shipping/Payment:
Shipping will be 1st class recorded, and included in final price

Paypal only please

Just a little you can get a fully working one for that price

I wholelly agree.

A new PSP Screen costs about £20 (Probably more due to the exchange rate :x)
So it'd cost about £100 to have a fully working PSP S&L (Assuming nothing else is wrong with it...

The problem is that you can buy one for £80 (Slim 'n' Lite one) that works on here easily...

I will pass this one up CFW doesnt make it worth anymore money in my eyes and as for the screen, i think that the screen works and that it might be a loose connection inside the psp or the backlight of psp screen is faulty or it might have another motherboard issue i have fixed quite a number of psp's and never had a dead screen lots of cracked ones and backlight faults, so whoever buys this psp send me a pm i have lots of spare backlights that i will send out free
#16
Could you switch the psp on and hold the screen under a bright light and let me know if you can see the icons if so then its the psp back light if not then it might be a loose connection or motherboard
#17
Interested in any trades? phone perhaps?

The backlight comes on, you can see it in a darkened room, althought I definately can't see any icons
#19
screens probably fine might be a motherboard problem.

Have you tried ringing sony as they have a very good warrenty service just explain the problem to them insist that the psp has never been dropped when they ask say you purchased it around 8 months ago and they should replace it free its worth a try i have done it around 3 times so far and never been knocked back to date as long as its a uk console Sony's number for this is 08705 998877, or try the cheaper geographic number 01923 653598.
