FOR SALE
HTC Desire 4gb, Immaculate Condition, no marks, scratches or blemishs at all. It is locked to Orange, but as you all know unlocking these phones isn't a problem.

This phone has had a screen protector and a gel case on since the moment it came out of the box, so absolutely immaculate.

Comes with the following items:

Original Box
HTC Desire
4gb MicroSD Card
Wall Charger
USB Charger / Data Lead
Original Earbud headphones (Never Used)
2 x Gel Cases (1xSmoked & 1xGloss Black)
Screen Protector
Orange PAYG SIM Card with £10 Credit on

I know I haven't got lots of feedback on here but on eBay I'm stefor123 and have 100% with 300+ feedbacks. If you need to check it's me, then feel free to send me an ebay message.

SHIPPING
I'd really prefer this to be picked up in person, so the new owner can inspect the phone, but I am willing to send this royal mail special delivery at a cost of £7.00.

PAYMENT
I'd prefer either cash on collection but would also accept Bank Transfer.

Now unlocked and tested with o2, Virgin, Orange and Vodaphone SimCards. I want £250 +P&P

Hi, I might be interested in this for the wife. Has this got any Orange branding apart from the logo on the back such as splashscreen, extra software etc? How easy is it to be unlocked as we would need it on T-Mobile? Do you have the receipt for warranty purposes? I believe HTC requite proof of purchase for warranty service.

Would you be interested in a trade for a brand new in box Toshiba BluRay player, I have the receipt for this.

Hi afc2002uk

It's Steve the guy you bought the 32gb MicroSD from and also the guy selling this HTC Desire!! Yes, it does have the Orange splash screen on it and the logo on the back cover (which if you put the gel case on is barely seen if you use the smoked cover and not seen if you use the black cover.

As far as unlocking, it's as easy as paying one of the many code sellers on eBay the fee (around £15-£18) and give them your phones IMEI number they email you a code back to put in via you phone screen. I've got details of a reliable one who can do it straight away.

I would be able to dig the original receipt from Dial-A-Phone no problem.

Unfortunately, I'm selling to raise money towards a bill, so would prefer to sell than trade, but thanks for the offer.

Cheers
Steve

My limit for the total purchase is £250 so how would £230 sound allowing me to unlock it?

Damn good price for the phone, I got a code for an Orange Desire for £14 last week

Sorry, not at that price. I'd be wanting atleast £240 for the phone.

Is this running Android 2.1 eclair or 2.2 froyo? Also, do you know how easy it is to install a custom rom, ie getting rid of all the orange stuff and running the official htc desire rom?

Also, you mention earlier that you could throw in the dial a phone receipt. Would dial a phone accept this as proof of purchase considering its not me who would be on the receipt should something break with the phone?

Thanks

I will be happy to take it at £240 but need to sell my other phone first. I will keep an eye on the thread in the meantime. :)

btw, about unlocking i would definately reccomend foneszone, i bought a blackberry off here the other day and it was really easy you just follow the instructions and code you get sent, cost me £9.99 for my blackberry so might be cheaper than ebay, first time ive used an online thing and i emailed the guy before hand and he dealt with my request... checked out loads of reviews of online companys before hand and youve gotta be careful but it was all sweet there for me :D

Just to help, this phone can be unlocked for a tenner. I found someone on eBay, paid them and they emailed me a code and it worked.

As for the Orange software, rooting and then putting a custom ROM on this phone is also quite feasible (google it) and it gets rid of any software branding. I've done this to mine.

Hope this helps.

Hi There

Even though you've been a member for over a year, you've only ever posted a few comments on the site, which if I'm honest worries me. I've decided to remove it from sale.
