at work ATM but think its a Hitatchi from memory was original HDD out of PS3 prob bout 18 months old only took out cause i upgraded HDD in PS3 nothing wrong with it at all:thumbsup:

Ok, thanks. Do you know if it's 7200 RPM? oh, and the enclosure isn't sata/ide hybrid by any chance?

If its a ps3 drive they didn't do any that were 72,000RPM.

Thanks. Was hoping the enclosure would take 3.5" drives too as looking to back up my 320GB PS3 just in case it goes pop. Cheers anyway.
