Amazon Kindle 3
Wi-fi Version
It is being sold as faulty
I brought it from a car boot sale and all appeared to be ok until I tried to register it. It has been blocked.
I've tried to find ways around it but am unable as I'm not very techincal.
Hoping to recoupe some of my money back for a new one.
Is boxed with charger and instructions. Box has been torn at the front.
Selling for spares only.
The unit is in excellent condition and still has its plastic protector on the back. Connects to wi-fi with no problem.
Hopefully someone will have more luck with it than me.
Shipping/Payment:
Postage via recorded delivery - £4.50
Payment via paypal or BT
Location:
Ashford, Kent

missposty, as you purchased this at a car boot and therefore don't know its previous history could you please check if its been blocked as reported stolen ? We'd need further clarification on its current status and I've temporariy locked the thread until this info can be provided to prevent discussion bumps.

** Amazon Kindle Help link **

I contacted Amazon it has not been reported Stolen. It was a second devise after the owner didn't recieve their first one. That's why this one was blocked.
I asked if they wanted it returned and they said they didn't as it has been dealt with. I was honest with them and said I would try to sell it on for spares and they said that was ok as they couldnt give me any money

Thank you for updating - so the item is being sold as spares rather than a faulty kindle and this has been agreed by Amazon - as long as buyers are aware of this and Amazon are okay with it being sold as spares then the thread can be unlocked. Also buyers should verify any info with the seller and ensure that they are happy tp proceed with the sale. Thanks again for updating, thread unlocked.

Hi, you are the same as me I'm afraid. I don't know enough about them. people have advised you can download via the USB avoiding the wi-fi but I cant figure how to do it. By being blocked you can't register it with your amazon account and that means you cant download straight from there. Thats all I can offer I'm afraid, Really out of my depth on this one. Sorry x

Thread remains closed. Please do not relist this item. You may however wish to disclose documentary evidence to back up your claims as per your discussion with another moderator, e.g. the item has been paid for by the original owner and not been reported lost/stolen. You should also explain why a 'legitimate' block remains in place.

Report your thread should you wish us to reconsider.

Thanks.
