I bought this and tried installing it on my desktop but it doesnt work with *64bit* vista.

n.b. this is both a PCMCIA card and a PCI card (using adapter) so can be used on a laptop OR desktop.

Looking for a Vista *64 bit compatible* card or dongle to swap with....

anyone?

******************
I have got a Vista 64bit adapter sorted so now just looking to sell this, anyone interested?

Hi it looks like it works with 64bit drivers, take a look at following 2 links 1 is the product and the other is the linksys forums

http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/WUSB54G/download

Check the 3rd post down

http://forums.linksysbycisco.com/linksys/board/message?board.id=Wireless_Adapters&thread.id=3589&view=by_date_ascending&page=3

been reading down the forum list and lots of people have it working

This seems to have no problems as a driver

ok, as long as it works in 64bit that is cool. is it new or old? if not new I'd appreciate a *modest* cash adjustment as the belkin has never actually been used in anger and has the flexibility of being both a desktop and laptop device...)

It is not new but in good condition and can also be used on a desktop or laptop too, and am a bit skint atm sorry. Up to you.

Of course, i dont have any Wireless N things on my network, so it would not speed mine up and i use XP and will never use Vista. Out of interest what sort of money were you thinking, maybe we can come to something? If you posted first, i could post mine to you and include the postage you paid in the package?
#13

fyi, if you didnt know, if/when you get an 'N' rated router, any N devices will run at full speed (even if there are sub-'N' devices on the network to)

I have an N arted router, but no devices on it are N rated only G, so not sure what you mean? If I had one device that was N rated, it would still only work at the speed of the devices its talking to? also as my BB is 20Mb an N rated device will work no quicker then a G rated, thats right? so you need 2 N rated devices to see any speed increase?

How much you looking for it then? maybe a swap for a xbox 360 Memory Card?
