I bought this hard drive to use in my mp3 player but then found it wasn't compatible so it ihas only been used to test that it works (and it does!)

It's got a Toshiba 30GB 1.8" hard drive inside and doesn't need an external power supply. In Windows XP (don't know about other systems) you can just plug it in and it will be recognised, it doesn't need any drivers.

Size is 6x10x1cm. To give you an idea, here it is in my hand:

Thanks for inserting the pic!
Actually that was the hard drive I bought which was incompatible with my Mp3 player. As you can see it was new when I bought it.
Anyone interested at £25?

interested in any trades?

No, I don't think there's anything I need at the moment.

As amazon are doing 80GB for £30 delivered, the same size/price ratio would give £11.25, ill offer £12 delivered :)

The Amazon one is a 2.5" drive though, this has a 1.8" (as found in ipods) so it's much more portable and doesn't need an external power supply either. The hard drive is worth £25 alone, so an interesting argument but I'll have to say no.
