Fat PS2 Console with accessories

Tried listing this on Ebay but there wasn't much interest. Open to suggestions if anyone has any ideas of alternatives?

There are 3 controllers (1 wireless), a DVD remote control, a disk to enable multiregion DVD playback, 2 memory cards, a Logic3 memory booster, and a Joytech screen with in-car adapter. So it can be used for either playing games or watching DVDs pretty much anywhere.

Maybe it's just the wrong time to be selling an older console? Thought the extras would make it appealing, but maybe I should list everything separately?

Suggestions/comments/offers appreciated!

Postage for the whole bundle would probably be around £8.

(6) You MUST specify a legitimate asking price for every item in your listing, this includes items for trade only and is for comparison 'like for like' reasons. Sellers listed price CANNOT be altered once offers have been made. Items already listed must NOT be listed in ANY other active thread. This is NOT an auction site, bidding on items is strictly NOT allowed

Just had a browse of ebay of it seems to be flooded with them. Some ending at 99p, my friend tried to sell his a while back but ended up just keeping it.

Personally i'd try selling on here first, youll hit a big audience and its free also if your willing to split your items pads, mem cards etc, you might get added attention. If it doesnt sell on here then you havent lost anything so id try the papers and supermarket from then on with ebay as a last resort.

Remember rule 3 if you are to sell on here:
(3) All sales MUST be listed and completed fully on the HUKD FS/FT forum. NO eBay, auction, classified or external links to an item listed elsewhere. You must NOT list your items for sale or trade here if they're listed elsewhere, this also applies where you have more than one of the same item being offered and includes 'Request' or 'Wanted' threads.

So no posting on here and in the supermarket at the same time, dont want to see anyone get banned now! Good luck:thumbsup:

I know - sorry - and wasn't trying to encourage bidding. Just trying to find out whether it was worth listing to sell at all, or whether it would be better to list everything with separate prices, or accept that it won't go in today's market, or find out if there were alternatives to Ebay.

Mentioned the postage because that would impact on whether anyone thought it worth listing for sale or not.

Thanks for the comments - I think I'll see if I can sell it locally first. If that doesn't work out, I'll come back and list it with a suggested price.

It may also help if you state if this is an original PlayStation 2 ("Phat") or a Slimline PS2 model, and the age/purchase date of the items.

The colour of the console may influence some interested parties.

That said, the Joytech screen/adapter should be worth at least £10-£20 (if not more).

Finally, as fragaliciousbob mentioned above, you need to specify a price of the individual, or the combined, items or this thread will be locked by a Moderator until you provide a price.

If you wish to canvas opinion on the value of something prior to listing in the "For Sale/Trade" forum, use the "Misc" forum instead.

Jazz as you were only asking for advice & didn't intend to sell the items on HUKD at this time as you are going to try to sell them locally first, I'm locking this FS/T Thread, thanks.
