Faulty Xbox360 (20Gb) for sale
- Suffering the sniffles with the one red light ( video card error, but easily fixed...just im bone-idle)
- Gamecube that comes with it has all cables (as does Xbox360) and some games (Xbox360 does not...I sold them)
- Comes with Gamerscore of 19,824
- Will change the e-mail address linked to the console and e-mail the new one with login details for whoever is interested...This will keep Gamerscore intact whilst protecting my personal details
- Willing to trade the lot for an Unboxed PS3 (40Gb) with no games but with all leads (in the interest of fairness)
Shipping/Payment:
Direct bank payments only preferably

contact me at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (through MSN or e-mail) if other payment arrangements are your thing

send me a message through this site (didnt know it blanked out e-mail addresses lol) to arrange payment/shipping details

Indeed, if I were blackTiger I would have wanted some pretty good confirmation of who you were and that I was going to get my stuff, this is why all deals need to be done in the thread and not over PM, hopefully it all goes well, but there is something that don't sit right to me.

This all happened too quickly and has that look to it, but hopefully our instincts are wrong on this.

Btw, buyer said he's covered by Paypal regardless, but is this true? If the seller has a new, unverified paypal account, is a buyer protected for a purchase outside ebay? I wouldn't have thought so, but I don't know the PP rules on this...

If he paid by gift then no. But if he paid by normal paypal then they will freeze the funds if he logs a claim regardless. Just depends on whether the funds are still there or not if/when he does it...........if the OP spent them straight away and he needed to make a claim then he'll lose out as it's only eBay which is guaranteed regardless of whether funds are in the account.

I was going to post regarding this and did not want to be accused of thread spoiling. Black tiger I hope you followed all rules with regards to details as you are not necessarily covered by paypal. You are covered for item not received on a best effort basis, so if the seller clears their account of funds you won't get a refund. Basically how it works off ebay, is you can claim INR BUT if the seller has no funds, you won't get a refund, only what is in the pp account at the time of dispute or if they add funds at a later date.
Also a chargeback is not always viable with PP as a lot of card providers won't do it. As you pay pp for a service to transfer money, once they do that their side of the deal is complete.
For that reason the following would of rang alarm bells..............

I thought that if I made a claim via paypal, I'll win the dispute because I'm verified, whereas the seller isn't, also I paid via normal Paypal, so I'm not sure

Good luck anyway bud

Yeah, hopefully this isn't another daviddshaw, ripped me and another guy off, I lost £30 from stupidly sending money first :(...never again.

Oh and I made a claim with paypal, but by that point, he had already rinsed his account so I won but got nothing back.
#21
I hope he's not reading this and getting ideas of taking the money out.

You may well win but if there is no money in there then you'll get nothing.

Happened to me on here, paid for something, never got it, never asked for his details. Made a paypal claim, won it but they money had long gone out of the account so i ended up with nothing.

Learnt my lesson though, never buy anything now off here without getting details first.

Expensive lesson, reason why I report so many of these people straight off. Offering goods far to cheap for what the average forum user pays. Some are innocent, some are ridiculous. I hope the guy just isn't logging on checking back because hes sold his item, but tbh this is very doubtful. Personally I think the system needs changing so you can't post on the FS/FT thread until you have received rep, and have a certain amount of posts. Or at least have to data check with the admins, as you do on some other forums.

I hope you get your money back but I wouldn't hold your breath, I reported it again.

I think you should need to put all your details in before you can sell on here.

Name address telephone number etc.

It's funny how he says wait at least a week for the goods to arrive. Gives him enough time to take the money and run :P. He could still be legit though I guess.

You are 100% not covered by paypal.
