2001 Fiat Punto ELX V8 1.2 Just approaching 31,000 Miles

Great little car, never any problems with it, just passed its MOT last Monday, Taxed till Spring. Ideal for first car or great run around. Good on the wallet too. Wont need to spend anything on the car till the tax next year.

£2350 for an 8v Punto 51 plate Punto..? I've got my 51 plate Sporting on here and Pistonheads at £1395 and struggling to sell it. Granted, mine has a few problems, but if you sell this for £2350, you're laughing.

You do know there's a worldwide recession on, don't you? Have seen similar motors for a grand or less!!
#5
Looking for a car less than 1000pounds anyone ?
#6
Thats quite a bit overpriced. Low mileage granted, would say £1500 - £1700 more like it depending on full spec/extras . . . . . (based price on parkers guide, here)

I seen others with double the miles being sold for £2000 so i dont feel i am asking too much for the car really. Its good condition, low miles, full years mot, full tank of petrol, Very good Kenwood CD player, Condition is perfect inside, 5 months tax. So for a little run around its perfect price no one needs to do anything to the car until Tax runs out. I think the price isnt asking too much at all.

Price is a little high to be honest i bought a 52 plate punto 1.2 for 1500 quid with nothing wrong with it.

That was a year ago beforee this recession!

Fair enough good for you for getting a good deal like i said i am open to offers around the asking price i know i will be able to sell it for £2k mark so i am happy with that. The recession will make cars like mine more appealing as they are small, cheap and easy to run.
#12
Good luck @ this price & fair play to sticking to your guns but there are plenty of better priced models on Auto Trader in good nick with low mileage - £1600 - £1800 would be more apt :)

Thats ok, i know i will be able to get £2000 for it so thats fine. Still got 3 weeks to sell it before i go away.

Oh dear..I think you have been misinformed.
Fiat (like most manufacturers) say it should be every 72k or 6 years (i.e. 2007 and its nearly 2009).
Thanks for letting me know

Just to clarify (though I wont be buying):
I asked if FSH?
you said "yeah" but also "a good service history".
Is that full? i.e. every year? :)

Cheers

It's a 8v fire engine, it's safe, the cambelt snapping is just an annoying day getting it sorted outand the cost of a cambelt replacement, nothing more.
