I have 2 adult and one child seats on return flights to Palma from Bournemouth on the 19th April - 26th April (saturdays).
Due to commitments we can no longer travel at this time.
I have been assured by Ryan air that the ticket names can be changed but feel free to check for yourself. I paid just over £60 for the tickets so am willing to consider offers close to that amount. Paypal or transfer.

You can change the names on Ryanair tickets, they charge approx. £70 per name change. Hope this helps

Makes sense to me... if it was free or a fiver, the cheap flights would all be nabbed by agencies reselling them at higher rates- much like concert tickets- and nobody would get cheap flights. There's probably some extended cost- extra checks on the new passengers etc.
All this means to the OP is that they've wasted £60 I guess.

Please do me a favour it makes money not sense you just need to look at all the charges ryanair make to know what a rip off these lot are.
Please tell me how it costs them £70 in extra work to change the name for you i suppose you agree with bank charges as well its the same thing. Ryanair are not saying they charge the £70 because of agencies buying ticket they say its admin fees.

1. Low cost airline releases tickets at a low price
2. Ticket agency buys them all
3. TA sells to the people who wanted the flights at an inflated price.

The change fee takes out 2. and 3. by making it inoperable for the TA.

It's their company, their policies. I don't know how you can call a low-cost airline a ripoff? Surely you realise that £60 for three return tickets to Palma is actually *pretty cheap*? lol you don't really think a business selling £20 tickets is sustainable do you!

I know £60 for 3 tickets is cheap whats so funny with the lol ? i am saying £70 to change the name is a rip off i hope you never ever have to pay the charges youself plus you say a business selling £20 is not sustainable whats that got to do with it ?

Polly, are you telling me that Ryanair told you that it was possible to change names on tickets but didn't mention the charge?

Or were you concealing that significant charge from punters, hoping that someone would be naive enough to pay you without checking?

Billyx is spot on so I cannot see how you dont think his points are valid, even after he had to spell it out for you twice

Ye, good point. The fact that the OP hasn't come back to this thread also strengthens this possibility in my mind. OP?

To be fair though, the op hasn't been online since she posted the thread.

yes, but the OP probably waited for the first reply; probably the reason for not being online since!

Ryan air did NOT tell me of any charge and this is the first I have heard of it. Sorry for the post, if you can tell me how to remove it I will.
